Review: In July 2012, White Media was contracted to build a custom website for me. Per the contract they agreed to build a "professional and seamless design, while offering a user friendly ease of navigation. Create an easy to manage website with fundamental content management functionalities." "Guaranteed 100% satisfaction and return on investment." Will, "employ customization of marketing strategies and research." "Will develop a seamless and user-friendly Content Management System (CMS). The reliance on outside parties to make quick and simple edits will no longer be a concern, as [client] will be equipped to make whatever textual edits they desire."

White Media agreed to build and launch the site in three months which actually took nine months. Since the site has launched parts of it were not working and took several more months to fix.

In all of the above, they have failed to deliver on what the contract stated and what I paid for. I contacted owner [redacted] on 4/*/13 to attempt to discuss many of these issues. I also called him which he did not answer or return the call. He returned an email to me on 4/**/12 saying he would reach out to me the next week and I never heard from him.

I have struggled to get this website finished but whenever I ask for something, the team takes a month to respond. They then tell me the tasks are finished but they are not.

Case in point, contract states I need this site to "be revenue generating so a place(s) for advertising will be essential." The ad on the Home Page does not fit so the team took it upon themselves to cut-off the size. Per any ad network's terms this makes the ad unusable.

Also, per the contract they were supposed to build a usable CMS to which I have gone many rounds and many months without due to issues of not having access to the editor's reviews. I asked them for a search function to be made available for the growing database. They did add it but it didn't work and now they have removed it.

Additionally, the CMS does not allow me access to the verbiage on the Home Page.

In the "marketing" clause they were to perform an SEO analysis. They did not. I did and have the emails to prove that [redacted] asked me for this. They never did ANY research of any kind.

Finally, it was in our agreement that the reviews would allow 1,250 characters. To date, they have not been able to make this function workable to me or any user.

White Media has cost me money, time, and are in breach of contract. After multiple attempts in trying to work with them long past the timeline of the contract, on all of the above stated in the first paragraph, they have been unresponsive and unable to do the work they were paid to do. I have to hire someone else to fix what they have built so it serves what my business needs.Desired Settlement: I need $8,000 of what I paid to them refunded to me so I can hire someone else.

Review: [redacted] contracted to have a custom website made by White media. After the first year of free maintenance the website became inoperable and then after a year of the site being down it completely disappeared. Customer service was rude, dishonest and unwilling to answer any questions we had concerning the situation. As of today we have no evidence of work performed by white media, the entire template is gone, my calls are never returned. All we have is a 3,000.00 deficit in our church account.Desired Settlement: We would like to be reimbursed what was charged. 3,000.00 seeing as to how we have no services rendered from white media.

I am not exactly sure what we did wrong. We created a website for [redacted] and made the site live back in 2010! Well over two years past and they had someone else work on the site and they created a bunch new errors. Recently they complained to us to fix errors we didn't create. So now they want their money back? They are past due on our hosting fees BUT we are the better company and we have went in this month and uploaded the site we created from 2010. Their site is now how we left it last. This is a unreasonable request and they should hire a company to maintain their website. We just made the website, what they do after that is their own business but we shouldn't be to blame.

Review: We paid for a website to be built well over one year ago. The project has not been completed. The communication has been nearly impossible, and we've repeatedly had to send our info over again. We've been shuffled about to different project managers and each time need to begin again. We've repeatedly asked for adjustments that have never fully been honored. Now, well past the time this project should have been completed, we have asked for reimbursement for the time and money lost. It has been nearly impossible to communicate with anyone in an effective way and the work is simply unacceptable for the steep cost that was charged.

We have reached out to the company and they insist that they can complete this project, however we are very reluctant to continue due to the experience we've had up to this point. We have been told that the contract will not allow for reimbursement at this late date, however, we never expected for the project to drag on in this unacceptable manner. We in fact paid the full amount and have never received a finished project.Desired Settlement: We would like to be reimbursed.
