Emergency Room
I went to the ER by ambulance. I could not walk due to an injection to relieve pain which caused more pain. The doctor slapped some pain patches on my lower back and ordered in house therapy and I never saw her again. I had no way to get to the door. My husband was waiting outside. I asked a passing nurse for a wheel chair. After discussing the PR with him, he went back in to suggest it might be a good idea. She refused. It was a one time opportunity. This so called doctor needs to go back to med school and receive bed side manner training.

Never again
I am continuously being billed for more and more. This is not possible. I'm a workers comp patient there and have been since 2019. My orthopedist has all the information including my lawyers numbers. I also am on medicare and medicaid but my recent visits have been strictly WC. They lost the disk to a recent MRI that I hand delivered and I watched the girl behind the desk hand it to the doctor who states he never got it. His notes and demeanor have been insulting besides being incorrect. I requested a copy of
my records and filled out the correct paperwork but have not received them in over a month. And that they make arrangements to replace the disk as I will require this to proceed else where. No one is taking any responsibility for any of this. Moving your office and being understaffed is not a valid excuse for losing patient records. I spoke to billing and she was requesting all the workers comp info which they already have and this is certainly not something I have by memory. And being a rehab nurse I am not allowing any "treatment" that has not worked in the past and is not recommended for the missed diagnosis.that was already actually there and got worse to either failure to treat or failure to address or even monitor, despite my educated complaints and symptoms since 2019 and this is a progressive problem. I finally got an independent opinion on my own, brought that to the WPH ortho who agreed with the diagnosis but still didn't address it even though the MRI (which I had to get on my own) confirmed this. His only offer was to see another ortho in the practice. or redo the surgury again on a torn meniscus which probably contributed to the AVN advancement to begin with.and should have been been addressed in 2018 and certainly when it did not respond to the surgury or any other painful unsuccessful treatments. Just to get an answer to a question I've been told I have to make an appointment and then billed even though none of my questions were ever answered even in the appointment, While WPH has had some very good services in the past, there were always some issues that shouldn't ever be tolerated by patients or administration. And its only getting much worse. I am aware that WC is very difficult to deal with, and you have this crazy pandemic now on top of everything else, I am certainly not the cause.of either and should not have to be constantly be treated without honesty, passion, or inhumane.

Review: I went to White Plains Hospital on service date 01/**/2015 and did not receive a bill from the Hospital until May 2015. I received a bill from White Plains Hospital Center ER Physicians on 02/**/15 in the amount of $71.23, to which I paid because I assumed that was the deductible after my health insurance paid the difference. However, in May 2015, I received another bill directly from White Plains Hospital and was advised that the bill I received came from the Physicians office and not them directly. I contacted my insurance and they advised me that I wasn't suppose to pay White Plains Hospital Center ER Physicians and they would have to owe me the credit back. I have called WP Physicians and initiated the refund process and they stated that it would take 4-6 weeks to process. I waited and called again today to follow up and they stated that they issued a check of $62.33. There is a balance of $8.90 remaining to which they claimed they refunded my debit/credit card. I checked through all my debit/credit cards and do not see this credit reflecting on my statement(s).Desired Settlement: WP Physicians are only issuing a check in the amount of $62.33 because they have stated that they refunded my debit/credit card a credit of $8.90 already. I want them to provide me a list of the transactions to prove they refunded my card and also need a blank copy of the check they submitted for verification because they stated it would take only 4-6 weeks for everything to process and it has exceeded that amount. If they have not sent out the check or if I do not receive it before the ending of the month. I want them to refund it directly to my card or I am going to escalate this matter further.
