Review: I brought in 5 dresses to be cleaned with underarm deodorant stains and 2 very small spots on the bottom of two dresses on Saturday June 7, 2014 and was told they would be ready on Tuesday June 10, 2014. I had to go back for three times for problems and didnt get everything back until Friday June 13, 2014. I went back to pick up the dresses, the linen and cotton dresses were still wrinkled, and I asked them to press them. Went back the next day to pick them up and they only pressed the bottom half of the dresses. I was told that they could not press the top half that it had to be steamed. I thought that was the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard. Who presses half of a dress! Cotton and Linen need heat to get the wrinkles out. In addition to that one of them had two additional stains on it on the collar lapel and at the waist, ink and something else that I didnt have when I brought it in to be cleaned the first time. She said that she would try to see if they could get it out. She told me they didnt do spot cleaning. The stain was removed, but the dresses were still wrinkled on the top half.I had another dress that was bright orange, and when I picked it up, it had dark shadows all over the back and front of the dress and the bottom inside was darkened with dark discoloration, the color was completely changed and the fabric didnt even look like it did when I brought it in. The owner told me that they would try to correct the problem, but there was no way to know if it would come out without wetting the dress. When I went back to pick that dress up it was not pressed and the lining was wrinkled like someone had balled it up to squeeze out whatever they used to wet it and the bottom edge where the kick pleat is still darkened. Unbelievable! My clothes didnt look like they had been to the cleaners. I didnt get the best cleaning procedures from White Star and I am so disappointed. At a cost of $60.22, I should have received better quality of service.Desired Settlement: I don't know how to fix this. Apparently they are using outdated methods of cleaning or out dated equipment that won't allow them to properly press clothes. I will have to take my clothes to somewhere else to get a better quality of cleaning and pressing!
