White Tiger Taekwondo & Martial Arts Reviews (3)

I feel they are very professional. The price is really reasonable for what all the facility has to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to improve their lives in any way.

We enrolled our 2 children for one price, we moved and now they continue to claim we owe them $1,000 more than what we agreed. We enrolled our 2 children with them at $155.75/month, which allowed 1 visit per kid, per week. We signed a year long membership which waived the $75 start up cost. Six months into the contract, we had to move out of state for job reasons, we informed them of it and they claimed we owed them a total of $313.25/month plus the $75 they had waived if we cancelled half way through. As we had already paid $155.75/month, this came up to about $1,000. If we continued to pay for the remaining 6 months, it was also about $1,000. Master [redacted] has been short and rude over the phone to my wife and I, refusing to allow us to speak. She routinely cut us off and even told my wife to stop telling her over the phone and to just email her. We agree we owe the $75 start up cost, that was in the agreement. We do not agree that owe her the extra money as we did not use her services to the exent she is charging us. She has charged us $155.75 twice since we have moved, meaning that she owes us $236.50 back.Desired SettlementWe want her to stop charging our accounts and to refund us the $236.50 she has over charged us.Given a customer service point of view, she should just eat the $75 we owe her, but I will not argue for that as it is in writing that we owe her that. Business Response Mr. [redacted] enrolled his 2 children in the school. He could not afford our regular rate per month and asked for a discount if he agreed to a contract for an entire year. The contract allowed the lower rate, and the agreement that it could be cancelled at any time for any reason. But, in such a case, the months used would be prorated back to the regular rate. We both agreed and signed the contract. He did cancel early and I provided the prorated amount. He then said he could not afford it. We went back and forth as to how I arrived at the figures, and claims that he did not sign a contract, etc. I provided all proof. I scanned all documents and sent them to him by email. They began calling me at inopportune hours - my cell phone while I was at the doctor in an examination, late at night when I was already asleep, etc. Both of these times I was not in position to provide immediate information found on my main office computer. Again he called but during business hours and said that he could not afford it. He wanted the prorated amount to be paid from the company "slush" fund because he said we have a lot of money. The company does not have a slush fund or a lot of money. To pay his prorated amount would require taking commission money back from the employees. He still insisted that he would not pay it. It is White Tiger policy that we will do anything for our students - especially those in need. I then offered my assistance to pay the money myself personally. Two office members were in the office to verify my part of the conversation. I backed up my offer in writing through email. I made sure that his monthly account was terminated and I got a contract for myself to work 3 weekends in security. They agreed to long shifts and I was able to obtain the entire amount to pay his prorated amount. He was not charged anything. I asked if there was anything else I could do for him. Instead of being thankful, he wrote a terrible review that impacted our business greatly. That is a shame since it hurts the employees that work there - I am only a volunteer. It is well known that I give what I have to help my students and employees. I lost my home years ago and have been sleeping in back office - my own personally expenses are very low. I have asked Mr. [redacted] if there is anything else I can do for him. From his phone conversations with the Office Manager I was under the understanding that he was satisfied with the outcome and that his complaint was resolved. This Revdex.com complaint is news to me. This email says that I did not respond, but I did not know about it. I don't have much of my own to give, but if he needs more assistance, I will find a way to help him. More info received from the consumer 2014-07-07They did close the account and stopped charging us. Their response includes several lies:"late at night when I was already asleep", we never called outside of the hours of 10am to 6 pm and only to the phone number that was provided from the office. She never informed us that it was her cell phone. "He wanted the prorated amount to be paid from the company "slush" fund because he said we have a lot of money" I never said anything of the sort, this is a lie in an attempt to discredit my argument. This was a service based contract. We did not cost them any money upon our departure and once we stopped attending. Them claiming that we were taking money from the instructors is inaccurate from an accounting perspective (given I work in procurement and finance, I know this)."offered my assistance to pay the money myself personally" She did offer this, as she was insulting me for being poor. She was very vile in her tone and demeanor, I asked her to not be so rude and she hung up on me. I never requested her help; I even sent a check which she destroyed. Overall, I don't want to pursue for anything else. I find her to be unethical and immoral. She felt comfortable to insult and deride me for being what she considered to be poor. Her tone here is entirely different from what her tone was over the phone to me. She fails to represent a profession that specializes in de-escalation of conflict. I am happy to leave my comments viewable to the public so that it might help prevent someone else from being a victim to her and her organization.

I feel they are very professional. The price is really reasonable for what all the facility has to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to improve their lives in any way. ","pos-1
