Review: I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE FROM WHITEHALL AUTO ON NOVEMBER 08, 2013. WHEN I DROVE OFF THE LOT THE CAR WAS MAKING A VERY LOUD BANGING NOISE. ON NOVEMBER 09, 2013, I CONTATCTED THE DEALER AND HE ADVISED THAT THEIR SHOP WAS AWARE THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED NEW STRUTS AND THEY WERE ORDERED. I THEN WAS GIVEN A PHONE CALL TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIRS FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK. HOWEVER, THE DAY BEFORE, THE DEALER CALLED TO CANCEL AS THEY HAD A MORE PRESSING REPAIR TO TAKE CARE OF. TWO WEEKS WENT BY WITH NO FOLLOW UP, AND MY PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS WENT IGNORED. I HAVE BEEN LEAVING MESSAGES, MAKING PHONE CALLS, WRITING EMAILS AND FAXES, BUT NO ONE WILL RETURN MY REQUEST TO HAVE THESE ITEMS FIXED. THE OIL WAS ALSO NOT CHANGED WHEN PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, AS THEY STATED IT WAS, BUT MY VEHICLES COMPUTER STATES OTHERWISE. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITH DAMAGED STRUTS FOR OVER A MONTH BECAUSE THIS COMPANY IS IGNORING THIS SAFETY ISSUEDesired Settlement: I WANT THE STRUTS REPLACED ASAP, ON THE VEHICLE THEY MADE ME DRIVE OFF THE LOT WITH AS PROMISED BY [redacted]. I ALSO WANT THE OIL CHANGED AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN WHEN PURCHASING A NEW VEHICLE.

I am rejecting this response because:

As you will see in the attached documents, I have made attempts to resolve this matter and have my struts fixed as promised by [redacted]. [redacted] canceled the appointment and said he woud follow up with me, and never has. He has repeatedly ignored my emails, faxes and phone calls when I tried to follow up.

The day after purchase, [redacted] advised me that his mechanic knew the struts had to be replaced and in deed ordered them, hense why he made an appointment with me to have them replaced, which I took off of work for. The day before he cancelled because there was another issue that was more pressing than mine.

I refuse to pay any part of the struts, as this is an ogoing issue from day 1 of purchase that has been completely ignored.

I have also received an oil change on my own because the oil was never changed prior to purchase.

I do not understand how a company that claims to be so great with their customers and have such a great sales person on their team, why they continue to ignore a safetly issue on a vehicle I purchased from them!

I already had my oil changed
