Wicker Electric installed the electric wiring on the new construction home I purchase I 2013. During the home inspection prior to closing 3 violations of the County Electrical Code were discovered and fixed by Wicker Electric at no additional charge. Prior to selling this home on April 15, 2016 the Buyer's inspector found 2 additional violations of the County electrical code (Failure to install a GFCI circuit protector in the Master Bath Vanity and Installing a 50 AMP breaker on a circuit that was only wired for 40 AMPS). These violations could have caused serious injury or a house fire.There internal work inspection procedure leave much to be improved.They then handed me a bill for $177.67 to fix items for which they were responsible. They took my check and did not cash it for 6 weeks and then decided to go ahead and charge me for this work and cashed my checkProduct_Or_Service: electric house wiringDesired SettlementI believe they ow me an appropriate response for there actions and a refund. They clearly need to improve the own work inspections if they plan to remain in business.
