Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.MR***'S (aka ***) DID NOT MAKE A PROPOSAL ACTIONAlthough Mr***'s used a lot of words, he said nothing of importance and had very little factual content to offer One true fact in his response was that we did spend over an hour at his facility going over the El Camino as *** had many questions regarding the way the full injection system and other items were installed (appeared to be a "mickey moused" job just to get the vehicle running) We also questioned why Mr***'s didn't replace several of the burned items instead of reusing them After Mr***'s comment to *** that "if you leave me another $I'll continue to work on the vehicle when I have time", we decided to pay the final amount due so we could take the El Camino and get it off the lot (had no intention of leaving it there so he could continue to hold the vehicle for any further ransom) On the way home both our son and *** noted that the vehicle was not running smoothly and that they began to smell gas Once the vehicle was in our driveway, several people came over to see it and all of us saw gas spilling out of the front of the vehicle and the paint was peeling off the bottom frame We immediately called Mr***'s and informed him what was happening and that the vehicle was totally UNSAFE TO DRIVE *** stated to Mr***'s that he and our son were very lucky to have made it all the way home and felt that Mr***'s had put their lives in jeopardy Mr***'s told *** he would come out to the house the next day (Saturday) to look at the El Camino Of course he did not show up and finally called us back the following day(Sunday evening) He requested *** bring the vehicle to the shop on Monday, and *** again explained how "UNSAFE THE VEHICLE" was to drive *** told Mr***'s that we would see him at his shop on Monday morning but we would not bring the vehicle back there When we arrived Monday Mr***'s was not there We spoke to Tim who stated Mr***'s was at a doctors appointment but was scheduled to come in We waited around for quit awhile then left and returned about an hour or so later Mr***'s was still not there but Tim called him and informed us that Mr***'s would not be in after all as he felt sick So, although we did attempt to confront Mr***'s in person, he obviously was unable to confront us As for addressing Mr***'s absurd comment regarding the questionable accidental fire, he has only proven what a despicable individual he can be and "AGE" has nothing to do with it!! Due to the fact that we are now having to redo the fuel injection system and replace numerous other items in the engine, this matter still remains unresolved Basically Mr***'s has been paid $15,for body work and a paint job Guess all we want to do now is to warn anyone that might want to use this shop to "Think Twice" before saying "yes"

I am writing in regards to a letter sent out by a Mr. [redacted] that  concerns the business,  [redacted]’s Extreme Machines to be some sort of hack shop that makes their living screwing people over and not caring about the end result of the projects that we build or repair.
Let me...

tell everyone out there in Revdex.com Land the kind of person we as business owners dread to ever walk through our doors; a prime example is one such as [redacted].  Right from the start he proved to be a person set out to make my workplace a living hell!
Mr. [redacted]’s car came to me with what looked like a questionable accidental fire, but that’s not for me to determine. The insurance company paid for the damages due to the fire and also paid for a complete paint job that really was not their responsibility because the body shop that [redacted] had gone to the last time he had his car painted, did not know how to do body work and ended up cracking through the
paint job. We fixed the mess the other shop had left him, and got to work on the project.  Have to wonder if he wrote the previous company up to the Revdex.com?
When the check arrived [redacted] and I went to the bank and deposited the check being it was in the both of our names, the check was to have a five day hold on it, and with [redacted] endorsement on the check it gave our shop the right to  perform the repairs.
[redacted] immediately went home after our trip to the bank and had his insurance co. reverse the check and brought police to my shop to remove his car from the premises. I advised the officers that there was a mechanics lean on such a vehicle and it was not to be taken until the bill was settled for the work already performed on Mr. [redacted]’s car. They left with the car still in my possession and left [redacted] with the realization that it might not be as easy as he had thought to pull a fast one on [redacted]’s Extreme Machines, but what he had accomplished was for there to be a huge confusion on where a bunch of money had gone in our bank account.
Mr. [redacted] decided it would be in his best interest to have us work on the car so he would not have to pay for his stupidity. So putting the entire BS behind, we gave [redacted] one of the nicest paint jobs to have come out of my shop! If it was not good enough for Mr. [redacted], well then I just don’t know what to say but he probably had his mindset on not liking the finished product regardless of how it turned out.
For the fuel injection, it would not have run if it was hooked up properly, and it ran good!
[redacted] informed me that when the fuel tank was filled to the top, fuel was coming out of somewhere and I asked him not to drive the vehicle and get it back over to my shop so we could address where the leak was coming from, he did not! Instead he wrote this little bh letter to you guys thinking it would hurt me in some way, because old pissed-off people have nothing better to do than bh
Fact of the matter is that Mr. [redacted] had every right to fully examine the car and reject anything he was not satisfied with. He and his family looked it over for about an hour told me that it looked very nice and drove it out of my life. I gave him the option of bringing it back for a supposed leak and never did I see him again.

I had one of my customers witness Mr. [redacted] at a car show proud as all hell of his new paint job, also stated to me how well the vehicle looked, so for me that says right there we did a damn good job!
PS. Thank you so much for having me take an hour out of my day to justify our side on such a BS complaint from a person who might never understand how to be happy with the qualities of what he has in life, but rather than hate on the people who work very hard, day after day, to try and give him as well as people like him something to be grateful for.
Sincerely, [redacted].
