Review: I purchased a 2005 Santa Fe from Wilde Toyota used car dep. a year ago. The vehicle failed emissions, I brought my Santa Fe back to the Dealer, thy told do not to worry they would take care of it no charge. They told me they did some repairs to it, they replaced the lower cat. converter but it continued to need service that was covered under warranty. They told me to take my SUV to Arrow Hyundai for warranty work to the exhaust. That is where I was told the whole system could have been covered under warranty however they could only cover the upper half of the exhaust because the lower half was after market and the cat. converter was attached to the flex pipe with some type of patch past (bondo). They also stated that the flex pipe would have been replaced because it was starting to rust. I took My Santa Fe back to Wilde service explained the situation, they said that they sent my vehicle out for repair to, if my memory is correct, Midas, and did not check on warranty status. If they did I would not have an exhaust leak and a loud exhaust. I complained to the used car manager and was told that all they needed to do was repair so it would pass emissions, I also complained to the service dep. on why they didn't check the warranty status to began with I was told they didn't think of that until after there first attempt to repair did not fix the problem. This smells of incompetence to me, even I know some of the warranty's on these newer vehicles extend past the normal vehicle warranty. I would have addressed this problem in April this year, but was having health issues, May, June, July, Aug, Sept.. Oct started cardiac rehab. now catching up on issues.Desired Settlement: Repair to factory specs with OEM parts
