The guest [redacted] stayed in room 152, the Happy Days Theme SuiteApparently it was a wedding night and the gentleman with her, [redacted] was heavily intoxicatedFinding an issue with the cable and lights not working in the bathroom, he called the front desk well after midnight and our desk clerk had to go to the roomThis room has a projector which is mounted on the ceiling above a CadillacMr [redacted] crawled onto the hood to adjust the projector which he should not do, our desk clerk said he repeatedly asked him to get down and became irritated that he would notHe proceeded to say that he was not going to dent the hood of our f'n carWe were able to get the lights and cable fixedHe complained that his wife was pregnant, according to his email that I will include, she was months, and that she might slip and fallLights were fixedIn lieu of a discount, our desk clerk told them they could have a 1:pm checkout instead of the 11:amThey also claimed that the sheets were dirty and the spa was dirtyWhen I asked [redacted] if the water had been run in the spa, she said noThe picture that they sent clearly shows water and bubbles at the drain, when I pointed that out, she said yes that they had run the waterThese pictures show the spa and sheets being dirty, and we have a head housekeeper who would never by any means approve this room to be openedDue to these facts and the only true issue being the cable and lights, which we fixed, I generously refunded 40%Mr [redacted] also repeatedly stated that he works for the Ohio Revdex.com and threatened to turn us inHere is the email that was sent to me by [redacted] :Robbie,My wife and I stayed in the happy days sweet and we were also here for anniversary today well this morning now was our wedding last night was our wedding night we came here to be at the same place that we got engagedI am going to attach a video and or photos of the Jacuzzi tub and how absolutely disgusting it was him for being in the business and marketing World for a long time I was very disappointed I am I very strong Christian man and I do not think that we deserve what we received also the bathroom light would not work It took a man to come down here until late to come for itfor about an hour we worked on itMy fiancé is coming up on months pregnant easily could've slipped and fell! She almost did slip and fall as well as myself and then on top of that! the cable would not work either so we are trying to do our best and try to keep my calm with the man that was working at the front desk we set aside our disagreements and professionally came to a conclusion he came and helped us out it ended up being great but we would like nothing more than to be compensated four our room here for the night especially because of the disgusting Jacuzzi tub that we wouldn't even get into as well as the disgusting room and honestly not to complain not to be a pain up your butt but it's my for my wife and Is first night together and we wanted to to use your hotel and business to celebrate our wedding night for pre-honeymoon and come back to the place that we got engaged and that is very special to us (well was) If that is not available to happen and is not an arrangement that we can work out or come to some sort agreement I will speak to corporate or upper management if you guys are a private organization then I will speak to someone above you can get this take this matter taken care of just because we are guessing we do pay a lot of money to stay here quite often and especially because we are coming here on the night of our wedding to celebrate our wedding night and weü got hengaged a year so I think that it's very appropriate that the Way the Jacuzzi tub was absolutely utterly disgusting and as well as the bathroom, stains on the sheets (other amenities were also not clean and disgusting) plus the cable not working and the disrespect all of these things need to be handledLike I said the man at the front desk was very disrespectful at first but then he did help out and I am very appreciative of that and we got the cable working which is great but that was going on 430am in the morning so he is going to let us check out a little bit later which is something that I definitely think we deserve but please give me a call or email me back and let me know what we can work out otherwise I will just have to contact the KBB or the Revdex.comHowever I would hate to do that because I love your organization I love coming here and so does my wife this is the room we got engaged inThank you very much for your time I appreciate you taking time out to read this I look forward to hearing from you OK thank you very much you can reach me at ###-###-#### that is my cell phone number at anytime you need toI will leave you a message and also call you on Monday or Tuesday if I do not hear from you from then thanks have a great dayI will attach pictures as well as a video.Thanks, [redacted] and [redacted]

I was indeed bit by a bedbug & I definitely called the front desk & left when they refused to give me another roomI was with my yr old sister & other little girlsIT WAS NOT A PARTYThe only decoration was the bannerThey know it wasn't a party & that's why I wasn't asked to leave because I'm sure if they seen me with guests they would have asked me to leaveI honestly believe all of this is stemming from my bedbug complaint

As soon as guest came to desk to complain, we sent a front desk employee to the room to check the room for the issuesNothing was found at this time, but to compensate guest, we refunded half of their stayWe take these complaints very serious, and the next business day we had an exterminator
inspect the room and nothing was foundAs for the manager yelling at the desk, that has been addressed on our endThe reviews listed on *** are older reviews as wellWe are an older property and are in renovationsThose issues will be noted and includedAs for asking for a full refund, the guest had been on the property for hours before anything was saidConsidering nothing was found regarding the complaints, we stand by the half refund.Thank youWildwood Inn Management

Again here are the photos from my stay at the WildwoodI was definitely bit & I DEFINITELY called the front deskWhy would I take these pictures AT YOUR HOTEL OF BITES ON MY FOOT but not report the incident to uHe's saying that he checked me out but in fact NO ONE checked me out furthermore how could you check me out when you weren't there when the incident took placeOnce again there was NO party, that's only being used as an excuse to steal my moneyLike you & I both stated there were balloons OR LESS on the floor & bannerThere was also only pizza boxes so that further lets you know THERE WAS NO PARTY!!! Then as far as small kids goWRONG GROUP!!! My sister turned THERE WERE NO SMALL KIDS WITH METhere were kids with me so how was there plates "all over the floor"The Wildwood is just unsanitary & doing bad business & I'm living proofAll I want is my money back (money that was WRONGFULLY taken) & this whole issue will be resolvedThey're being very underhanded & are only now willing to respond because I've got the Revdex.com involvedI called about the bedbug bite & they were rude & when I called about the $taken from my account they were even more rude & even hung up while I was talkingPlease make this complaint public so everyone will no how they conduct business.

Ms. [redacted],The complete intent of this $100 fee was the additional cleaning from the birthday sign, birthday party worded plates and multiple balloons scattered all over the room. This wasa ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE. The argument of the birthday party aside, this was a cleaning fee period. The charge stands and yes the hang up came when the cursing began.Thank you

[redacted],I spoke to our night auditor after the first complaint and she assured me that no one had called the front desk about any issues with bed bug bites and definitely not moving rooms. Then I myself was on duty the morning of checkout, coming in at 8:00 am and they did not leave early. I checked them out myself and saw the video of the room from my head housekeeper showing the big birthday banner on the wall and the plates scattered across the floor that read "Happy Birthday" on them along with about 10 balloons all over the room. It was definitely a birthday party no matter how small.  My other manager was on the property and was the one that saw the 6 people and he didn't say anything because a couple of them were very small children. desk clerk had to go to the room. This room has a projector which is mounted on the ceiling above a 1959 Cadillac. Mr. [redacted] crawled onto the hood to adjust the projector which he should not do, our desk clerk said he repeatedly asked him to get down and became irritated that he would not. He proceeded to say that he was not going to dent the hood of our f'n car. We were able to get the lights and cable fixed. He complained that his wife was pregnant, according to his email that I will include, she was 14 months, and that she might slip and fall. Lights were fixed. In lieu of a discount, our desk clerk told them they could have a 1:00 pm checkout instead of the normal 11:00 am. They also claimed that the sheets were dirty and the spa was dirty. When I asked [redacted] if the water had been run in the spa, she said no. I never said not 1 curse word so stop it please. We are in agreement that the guest has paid $77.90 for the hotel room. I spoke to the Front Desk Attendant who was on duty at 6:30 am and she said she received no calls from anyone on the property regarding bedbugs, so that is a false report. The guest did not check out at 6:30 am, guest was seen on...

property around 10:30 am. Our policy is that the guests are not allowed to have parties of any kind. We have attached pictures that prove a birthday party was held in the room along with the registration sheet that she clearly signed where it states no parties/birthday parties or additional people on the property. We allow up to 4 guests per room and guest had at least 6 people. We had to charge the additional $100 for a clean up fee.Thank youWildwood Inn Management

Review: We made the reservations with [redacted] (Operations Manager). We checked into the hotel August 31 at 3pm and planned to stay 2 nights. I asked [redacted] was it okay to have family members at the pool, he said it was fine and he would make an exception for us since we came five hour away. The next day at about 8am, I asked [redacted]'s father (who also works there) if I could exchange him clean towels for the dirty ones. He takes each towel one by one and inspects it in-front of my mother-in-law and myself and says to us, "NO, NO...no towels for you....get out, you need to get out of the hotel because you dirty this towel...and you hve too many people at the pool". (I guess [redacted] didnt inform him that he made an exception for us.) Then we informed him that my daughter slipped at the pool and fell down and we needed the towel to wipe her off. He demanded that we go back to our room and sit and wait for his son [redacted] to get back in one hour and at that point we could talk to his son. We followed his instructions and waited for [redacted] to get back. Ater [redacted] arrived he said we needed to leave the hotel because we "dis-respected" the hotel. He went on to say that we were using to many towels and got one really dirty. My mom-in-law offered to pay for the dirty towel.He also said we had extra people at the pool area when he was the one that gave us permission to invite our family. He also said we were the only people using the pool area and left crackers and food on the floor. I observd at least 4 other people using the pool are with us and he even denied seeing these people. He told us we had to check out immediately.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

Im asking for a full refund. He refunded only part of the money. He kicked us out at 9am. I want the full refund back which is an additional $138.

The complaint mentioned above is totally misrepresented by the guests. When the guests checked in they signed the registration card that specifies the number of guests in the room. They did confirm they had two adults and two kids. After they checked in the they requested for extra towels for the pool. They requested to have their relatives in our pool which we denied as the pool is only for our registered guests. No exceptions. Still they allowed their relatives inside the pool. They had beer inside the pool area when we have a sign right outside the gate that reads no drinks allowed in the pool area. They had food in the pool area and we found litter everywhere the next day. As mentioned in the complaint that more people used the pool that day is false as the only other guests besides the above mentioned guests were the firefighters working (day and night) trying to contain the rim fire. The next day the guests came and asked for more towels which was fine but the towels were filthy and were abused, not just used. When my dad went to deliver the fresh towels to the room he saw more people then the front desk was aware off. They had breakfast which is also for our registered guests. They were then called and asked to get another room in order to have that many people in the room. Then the guests came to the desk and wanted to leave. We did refund them for their second night without a penalty as we have 48 hours cancellation policy and we didn't even charge them for additional people in the room or for the soiled linen. We here at the wildwood inn make sure that our guests get the best customer service possible and gets the best experience.
