I took my truck there on 3/25/for a simple brake job I called on 3/24/and asked about prices for all four brakes The quote varied from $- $for what I wanted done At drop off at 8am 3/25/14, I told the gentleman that I would like OEM ceramic brakes installed as they had served me so well prior He said thank you and took my keysI picked up my truck at 3pm that afternoon to find that the break pedal went to the floorboard when I applied the brakes I immediately returned to the shop and asked the mechanic named ***, who did the work if he had forgotten to bleed the breaks He assured me he had not I then handed him the keys, in front of his Manager and insisted we take a ride so he could see for himself what I was talking about *** insisted everything was fine even though he pumped the breaks several times at every stop to ensure we did He told me and, I quote, "The brakes will adjust themselves."
I immediately made an appointment with a different shop to get this major safety issue repaired as it was clear that ***'s was not interested in pursuing my issue any furtherI was able to get my truck in the "other" shop, two days and miles later I was informed that OEM parts were NOT used in the original break job AND, SEVERE damage had been done to my rear drums due to either faulty turning equipment or, most likely, someone that didn't know how to operate it Indeed, my breaklines had air in them and had not been bleeded Also, my rear axle seals were bad and there was a mass off rear end fluid built up around the area ALL these things were shown to me ***'s all but ruined my rear drums with their ineptness They left me with a truck with air in dirty brake lines They did not replace a broken piston in the rear drum (which they may have broken themselves) They neglected to inform me that the rear seals on my axles were leaking and needed to be replaced They took $dollars cash from me and SENT ME BACK OUT ON THE ROAD IN A DEATH TRAP!!!
My ONLY recommendation for ***'s Auto is, STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS POSSIBLE!!!

I took my truck there on 3/25/14 for a simple brake job. I called on 3/24/14 and asked about prices for all four brakes. The quote varied from $250 - $600 for what I wanted done. At drop off at 8am 3/25/14, I told the gentleman that I would like OEM ceramic brakes installed as they had served me so well prior. He said thank you and took my keys.
I picked up my truck at 3pm that afternoon to find that the break pedal went to the floorboard when I applied the brakes. I immediately returned to the shop and asked the mechanic named [redacted], who did the work if he had forgotten to bleed the breaks. He assured me he had not. I then handed him the keys, in front of his Manager and insisted we take a ride so he could see for himself what I was talking about. [redacted] insisted everything was fine even though he pumped the breaks several times at every stop to ensure we did. He told me and, I quote, "The brakes will adjust themselves."
I immediately made an appointment with a different shop to get this major safety issue repaired as it was clear that [redacted]'s was not interested in pursuing my issue any further.
I was able to get my truck in the "other" shop, two days and 40 miles later. I was informed that OEM parts were NOT used in the original break job AND, SEVERE damage had been done to my rear drums due to either faulty turning equipment or, most likely, someone that didn't know how to operate it. Indeed, my breaklines had air in them and had not been bleeded. Also, my rear axle seals were bad and there was a mass off rear end fluid built up around the area. ALL these things were shown to me. [redacted]'s all but ruined my rear drums with their ineptness. They left me with a truck with air in dirty brake lines. They did not replace a broken piston in the rear drum (which they may have broken themselves). They neglected to inform me that the rear seals on my axles were leaking and needed to be replaced. They took $250 dollars cash from me and SENT ME BACK OUT ON THE ROAD IN A DEATH TRAP!!!
My ONLY recommendation for [redacted]'s Auto is, STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS POSSIBLE!!!
