Williamsburg Place Apartments Reviews (4)

I lived in these apartments from the time they first opened July 2011. I had some money issues and was late on my rent a few times. I had decided Dec 2014 that I needed a cheaper place so I told the office ([redacted]) that I would leave at the end of my lease..and two days later they gave me a letter saying that they didnt want me there anymore. My lease ended Jan 31 2015 and I asked the office again ([redacted]) if I could have a about 10 days vice the normal 5-7. She said "sure" as long as she could come in and see the moving boxes. My reason, and they knew it, was that I didnt have a vehicle to drive around so I was just working with when my son could help. We were completely out of the apartment on Sunday 8th I had not had time to clean so I knew I would loose some of my deposit. I told them I was completely out of the apartment be had now way to get the key back to them. I told them I would be getting my car back on Thursday 12th and the soonest I could get them the key was then. I was told "dont worry get it to us then", Later I get a bill from them stating THAT I OWED THEM MONEY because of the cleaning AND instead of prorating me until the 9Th like I was told...they say since they didnt have the keys (but made no effort to get it even after I gave them my address two different times..instead they charged me a months lease that was way more expensive because it was at the monthly rate.So instead of my getting about 700 of my deposit..they say I owe them more than 700. I have tried and tried again to try and resolve this matter but no one will get back to me... A BAD BUSINESS

Failing to Resolve an Ongoing IssueI have made serveral complaints about the condition of a pet park fence since the 3rd of July. I have delievered my concerns in writing to the apartment complex as well as the another letter to the parent company [redacted] on the 21th of July via e-mail. My concerns are not being taken seriously and the management has failed to provide any status to resolving the issue. There has been no compensation to temporarily fix the issue. I am paying for a service that has been not up to the standard that I agreed to pay for. Desired SettlementI just want to pet park fence to be repaired to a condition where my dog can be safe and healthy. I also expect a condition based on the amount that I am paying for.

They are charging us for a new carpet for a two bedroom apartment even though there were no visible stains and their representative did a walkthrough. We recently moved out of the Williamsburg Place Apartments in June of 2016. We moved in March 2015. When we moved into the apartment, the carpet was cleaned. After we moved in, we complained of a pet smell that lingered in the apartment and they kindly took care of this issue by having the carpet cleaned around the furniture. There were no stains when we moved in and no stains when we moved out. A month after we had left and had their employee conduct a walkthrough they sent us a bill for the entire two bedroom apartment carpet being replaced. During the walkthrough, the employee explained there will be an amount deducted for the carpet cleaning and some marks on the wall. However, when [redacted], the office manager, was called to speak about this issue, all she did was forward 4 pictures of the carpet to us and was never "available" when we called back. When we received the pictures, all 4 were of the underside of the carpet. These "stains" on the underside of the carpet looked very old. Our pictures of the apartment show no stains on the carpet. This is the same carpet that they cleaned for us and was acceptable to them at the time. We had no pets in this apartment and have never owned a pet which they attributed these stains to. They are now asking us to pay for a new carpet for the entire apartment even after there representative walked through the apartment with us and found nothing out of the ordinary. This business has horrible customer service to tenants who have never been a bother and always paid their rent on time. Shame on them.Desired SettlementWe would like to be fairly charged for the carpet cleaning (which we were told is $50.00) and minor marks on the wall. We do not want to be charged for stains under the rug (not visible on the top side) made by pets of tenants prior to us.
