In response to Mr. [redacted]: Pipes were cleaned on Dec.17,2015 and 2 plumbers were called to access the problem with sink backing up into the tub. Both plumbers agree this is a vent problem and should have been taken care of when bathroom  remodeled.  Mr. [redacted] never informed me that I needed a vent. How would I know I needed a vent? Mr. [redacted] informed me of ever thing else I needed. Never had this problem before bathroom was remodeled.

Mr. [redacted] said although he was not originally hired to add a vent during the bathroom remodel, he wants to help this customer solve her problem, but he is not responsible for the problem. He said he would do the following work as a favor as long as it is understood there will be no further liability after that. The vent pipe would have to go in the back wall between the vanity sink and the bedroom, requiring cutting in the wall, replastering, and considerable clean-up.
