Willimantic Waste is contracted with our town to pick up our trash. We pay by sticker. For several weeks we have had issue with them refusing to pick up our trash. On April 8th I was told by the town and Willimantic Waste the only way to have my garbage taken away was if I threw it in the garbage truck myself. There is no other way to get rid of it. I am also disabled. So, not wanting a fine for illegal dumping if my garbage were to tip over and get all over the neighborhood I I picked it up and put it in their garbage truck while the 2 garbage men looked on. I ended up getting severely hurt ripping my bicep and was in the E.R. immediately after the incident. The town nor Willimantic Waste will take responsibility for my injury. Medical bills piling up and surgery in the near future. This company needs to be shut down immediately. They get paid for service and refuse to do it leaving it up to us and if we get hurt in the process they don't care.Worst company ever!Not acceptable

To whom it may concern:It is our company policy that we do not issue refunds when a customer cancels in the middle of a service quarter. Unfortunately, we do not have a record that [redacted] called to cancel before the end of a quarter. That being said, a company service representative...

could have made a mistake and not correctly marked her account. Typically when a situation like this occurs, we first retrieve our equipment then issue the refund only if it is before the beginning of a service quarter, otherwise services performed are prorated. Review: I was a customer of [redacted] until they switched over to Wilimantic Waste on December 1, 2014. I decided not to go with Wilimantic Waste. I paid [redacted] up until the end of the year. Since I am no longer a customer I have asked for a refund from both companies and they keep saying it is the other ones responsibility. I have spent a lot of time calling both companies back and forth and there has been no resolution.Desired Settlement: At the very least I deserve a refund for the services I am not receiving in the month of December.

Review: We used the firm for garbage collection for many years at our previous address at [redacted] in [redacted]. The firm required quarterly payments which we made on or about Apr.1st, 2015 for $64.26. We were in the process of moving to our new address at [redacted] so we contacted the firm and informed them approximately 3 weeks before our move date of April 15th. Even though we still paid our quarterly bill, we only needed 3 more garbage pick-ups for Apr 1st, Apr., 10th, and Apr. 17th for a total of $16.08 charges. I had requested that we be given a refund of $48.18 (the difference of what we paid and cost of services rendered) and spoke to 5 different customer service reps over a period of 4 weeks in April to the latest call May 4th. When I spoke to the customer service reps I was under the impression (and they indicated to me) that I would be reimbursed and that it would be submitted to the owner for approval. A follow up call to a supervisor indicated that the owner disapproved the request apparently on multiple occasions. The supervisor stated that their "policy" is to "not reimburse the customer" but to provide services. This could not be carried out in this manner since my wife and I moved and had no further need for additional services. I had asked to speak to the owner to try to resolve the matter but he has not attempted to contact me.Desired Settlement: That a check for $48.16 be sent to me at our new address: [redacted]
