I spoke with *** from the company and he stated he was unaware of the problems still occurring and he will resolve the complaintHe will get in contact with the consumer this week or next week to speak about the issues

Mrs*** called stated that the business never came out to repair the drive way and she hasn't heard anything from the business

Hello [redacted] I submitted a complaint # [redacted] on 8/19/2014, since then the company Willy Hicks Paving has done more then take care of me.
They came to my house and repaired the problems and seal coated the entire driveway free of charge. I would like for nothing negative towards this company
to show because they did honor the warranty and then some. I want to thank you for your time in this matter.

Hello [redacted] I tried to send this last time but I guess it did not work for me. The problem with Hicks Paving repairing their job is #1 Hicks Paving has known of the problems since 7/7/2014. #2 I first talked to [redacted] on 7/8/2014 and he said he would come by in a few days to fill the cracks. Called him back on 7/8/2014 and told him I wanted to be there during the repair, he said that was not a problem. Did NOT hear from him till I called him back on 7/18/2014. he responded with he was to busy to come by. #3 I have still not heard a word from him, I sent him a certified letter and still NOT a word, today is 9/12/2014. That's 2 months. I have had another paving company over to look at the problems and they said the cracks need to have hot fill mix put on them and some sand put on the hot fill mix to dull the shine. Then he said the drive way needed to be seal coated. Also my lawyer said I should tell him to give me another 1 year guarantee because of the problems I am having so soon. I also paid for a FULL 3 inches of asphalt and it is NOT 3 inches start to finish. We paid $11.200.00 for a drive way that is cracking in less then a year, we feel that we can't trust Hicks Paving to do anything for us. We would like another company to do the repair and Hicks Paving to pay for it. I mean think about it picture what it is going to look like after the repair, like crap. Let the truth be known we would like all the asphalt taken up and new put down that way it would look RIGHT, instead of $11.200.00 patch job. Thank you for your time. Review: I contacted me Hicks about sealing my driveway and he immediately referred me to his son, who very promptly came out to measure and give and estimate. We agreed on a price of $550 and my driveway was supposedly "sealed" by his son and another gentleman. The next day I noticed several spots that had not been "stamped out" as we agreed they would be and several ant hills which meant those areas had not been sealed correctly. Since mr H[redacted] and his son communicate mostly via text, I sent a picture and was told he would come back out sometime the next day and then sometime later that week to make the repairs. When that didn't happen, my husband contacted him and we were told they would be out by the end of the month to finish the job and make necessary repairs. The end of the month came and went and we never saw either of them. I texted both of them, I called and left messages with both of them, I even commented asking for a phone call on their business [redacted] page and never heard back. My husband also texted and called

Both of them. I still have have not even had so much as a return phone call to address the issue or set a time to complete the job. They had no problem returning my call to set a time to do the job and get their cash. I also noticed on the invoice that their license# is expired.Desired Settlement: My driveway needs to be stamped out correctly and sealed COMPLETELY.

Spoke with [redacted] over the phone, after waiting the entire week for the business to fix the problem as promised he has been been contacted and no work has been done.

Review: I had a drive way paved not even six months ago. It started cracking and grass coming through. Called [redacted] numerous times to have it fixed. He stated he is going to come out to fix it each day I called. So I would take off work those days. He still has not came to fix it. I have been trying to get him to come by for over a month. I have left messages stating I understand you are busy just reminding you about my driveway. He has not called back and now does not answer the phone at all.Desired Settlement: I would like for him to fix my driveway and refund me the money I paid. I am losing money when I take off of work Bc of his lack of caring.

Review: I paid this company $11.200.00 to pave our driveway that is 802' X 10' with a 1 year guarantee. On the 11th month I started seeing some cracks all up and down the driveway. I contacted [redacted] about the problem, he said he would come by in a few days to look at it. Never saw or heard from him again. Also I had another asphalt company look at the problem and they said it was not 3" of asphalt laid. That is what I paid for 3". This is why our driveway is cracking so soon. In some places it is only 1/2 inch thick. Also he gave no guarantee on weed control. They only used 1 gallon of weed control that was deluted on 802' 10' that is why I have weeds growing every where.Desired Settlement: I need our driveway done and done right. I cant trust Hicks Paving to do the job right so I feel that the only right thing to do is refund our money. We will then pay someone else to do the job right. It will cost us more because we will have to pay to take up the old asphalt and start over. It will be worth it to have a driveway that will last more then 11 months, and to get the full 3" that we paid for.
