My husband told the workers it wasn't level and they said it was He REPEATEDLY told them it wasn't level He told them to have [redacted] come by so he could show him his concerns [redacted] REFUSED and sent the workers back to get his check for the sleezy, shoddy work People have used levels for hundreds of years and now they aren't relevent? If the frame is so perfectly level, how come the windows, walls and doors are not? I guess [redacted] has a new law of physics he applies Even my plumb bob says it is NOT level KEEP your money ***, but I get to tell my story about Wilson Construction and [redacted] and the truth is what it is and you can't find one legitimate contractor to dispute my claim Sad part is I need a new contractor to build my room and level my home ***

Wilson Construction did a marvelous job upgrading my new home! I had over a dozen major items replaced, and everything was done beautifully: new roof, new water heater, new water heater compartment door, new vinyl skirting, new support piers, new windows, new sliding glass door, new front door, and more I was very pleased with the expert team, led by MIguel, and will definitely be calling Wilson Construction for my next project

I am very pleased with the professional job Miquel and Jose did installing vinyl siding and skirting on my mobile home Their attention to detail exceeded my expectations I would highly recommend your company for mobile home work

Just had my new roof put on todayYour crew showed up between 7:30am & 7:45amAs soon as they put the 2" foam insulation onI noticed such a differenceIt is SO much cooler in the house nowI felt SO bad for that crew working in the heat & humidity; but, NO COMPLAINTS from the guysI'd recommend you to anyone and everyoneWith NO hesitation

The [redacted]'s mobile home is 100% level... The leveling is done off of the I-beams under the home that support the home. When Mr. [redacted] had concerns about the leveling Jason offered to have the crew come back that very moment to his mobile home and show him exactly that it was level. He refused that...

very offer he is now asking for !?... as for the customers use of a level in their home as a basis of concern, one can't use a carpenter's level inside the home to gauge the level of a 50'+ span. A professional water level is used outside the home based on the I-beams. The service was performed and there will be no refund in any amount for any reason.. As a courtesy we would be willing to re-check the level and show the customer, we could do so in approximately 6 weeks.

Review: My husband and I contracted Wilson Construction to level our mobile home, remove a cooling unit from the roof, install a sky light and to seal our roof where needed. Upon completion we explained to the men that were here that we were not happy with the leveling job that was done. We explained to them that we wanted to speak with the person that signed our contract and have him come by to see what we were talking about. [redacted] called us and would not even come by to look at why we were not happy with the work. [redacted] said he was sure that it was level and that was the end of it. We were told up front that it would probably not be perfect, however we can see by the use of a level how far off it is and he would not even show us the courtesy of coming by to speak to us regarding our concerns.Desired Settlement: We believe that our mobile home is not level and therefore would like a refund of the $750.00 plus tax that it cost us for the service.

Review: I am seeking your assistance in this matter since efforts on my part to resolve it with Wilson Construction has been fruitless.

I have enclosed a copy of the letter I sent to them registered mail on July 12, 2013. I also phoned twice and left messages. I did not receive a reply to either letter or phone messages.

Also enclosed is the only documentation I ever received from them. I have also enclosed proof from my credit card company that I had paid Wilson in full.

--------------------------------------------------

In July of 2011 your company replaced the leaking roof on [redacted]'s mobile home at [redacted] Drive, [redacted] for which she paid you $8,644.00 with her credit card. Between July 2011 and March 2012 your company made at least five visits to her home to work on the roof which never stopped leaking, even to this day. As a result, a significant amount of her clothing and other personal belongings have been destroyed.

On the last of these visits, one of your workers named [redacted] asked her, "Do you want me to lose my job?" She replied, "No". He then said, "Then don't call my company again". She hasn't called since even though the roof continued leaking.

She has no record of receiving any of the following required paperwork from Wilson Construction:

Written estimate of work to be performed and cost of that work

Contract

Work orders

Warranties on workmanship

Evidence of your liability insurance coverage

Receipt for payment

We are requesting copies of all the above referenced documentation be sent to her home by no later than Thursday July 19th and that your company corrects the roof leak or leaks by no later than July 31, 2013 with documentation of the new work and all associated warranties and other paperwork.

In the event this problem is not addressed in a timely fashion, we will notify the Contractors State License Board in Sacramento, the local Revdex.com, the Marin County District Attorney's Office Consumer Protection Unit and the California Department of Consumer Affairs for assistance.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.Desired Settlement: Correct the roof leak or leaks with documentation of the new work and all associated warranties and other paperwork mentioned.
