Review: on dec 27 2013 we had new windows and a patio door put in our house by window depot also known as n.e.w. windows and patio doors after the windows and patio doors were installed, with all the cold weather you could feel the cold air blowing into the house from the windows and patio door plus there was ice on the inside of the windows and patio door they are not sealed very good. we took pictures of are the ice on the windows and patio door and sent them to the company. I have called them and emailed them and we are not getting any results. they said they are going to have a tech. make a appointment with us but that never happened plus when they installed the patio door the trim that goes around the door has a saw cut in the middleDesired Settlement: that they either fix the windows and patio door or replace them and fix the trim

This is the first complaint that I have received since the start up of my business 13 years ago and I feel very bad about it.

The customer and his wife are good customers and the complaint is not an unreasonable one. The problem actually stems from the manufacturing aspect of the customers order. Fortunately, the manufacturer, [redacted]., has a 100% NON-prorated lifetime warranty and they stand behind it. As the customer has stated, Vista plans to send a field technician to the customers residence to do a thorough inspection of the products to determine the exact cause of the air infiltration. Once that is determined, the technician will most likely be able to correct the problem during the same visit. If not, new parts will be ordered and the technician will return to change them, to bring the products to the full expected performance. I have contacted Vista again concerning this matter and have asked them to get this done as soon as possible. Concerning the trim, the customer is actually referring to the "J" channel which surrounds the exterior of the patio door. When he initially reported it to me, I sent the lead installer out to inspect it. It indeed was accidently cut during the process of changing the patio door. I informed the customer that we would absolutely change the piece that was damaged, but that we would need to wait for warmer weather as the siding will need to be pulled back in order to change it and the cold weather makes the siding brittle. The customer understood and agreed that we could take care of it when the temperatures warm up. I spoke with him the other night and he stated that he still understands that and it is still the planned course of action regarding the "J" channel. Again, the customer and his wife should not expect anything less. I wouldn't.

I just want to say WHAT AN EXCELLENT COMPANY Window Depot USA of NE Wisconsin is!!!! The windows are excellent, best deal ANYWHERE!!! The installation was magnificent!!!! The men were awesome!!!! No bad language , no awful music, well mannered, cheerful and all knew their business. Kidos Window Depot USA of NE Wisconsin!!!! I give their name out to EVERYONE!!!
