10/3/16To whom it may concern As stated on 9/23/when our sales representative, Mr [redacted] and Owner [redacted] met with Mr [redacted] on 7/14/he declined to have obscured glass in the additional bathroom The contract was written stating, that the obscured glass was for Master BathPlease see original contract with highlighted line, this is attached Thank you, [redacted] Owner

Tell us why here...Plain and simply, we are not pleased and very unhappy with the service we received from the vendor She is not customer service driven at all We would like our master bathroom to remain obscure on the bottom, and we would like a clear window on the top (like the windows were before they were changed) The vendor is asking us to pay for it and stated that the contract says this is what it is...even though the contract is wrong We would like to be done with the entire situation, but the owner refuses, therefore, if she can't take care of the window as a courtesy to us as customers, then the complaint remains That's it, and that is all I will NOT EVER use Window World again and I will inform others not to as well The service has gone down the drain In the past, they would see fit that people were pleased...now they simply chase a dollar sign...sad scenario You just won't get anymore of mine

To whom it may concern I apologize that it took us three days to complete your job, originally we had step up the appointment to take two days, however the custom exterior trim that you had ordered was a special order and took longer in shipping. We completed the interior work on all the
windows and the exterior on eleven windows in the two days however we had to return the third day to finish the remaining eight of the eighteen windows and patio doorThis work was done on the outside on the third day and no one was needed to be at home. Mrand Mrs*** contracted with us on July 2016, to replace the windows in their home. Per the contract attached Mrand Mrs*** purchased tempered sashes and obscured sashes for the master bath only, it is stated on the contract that the window would come both top and bottom in tempered and obscured. No other windows would have obscured. Now at time of sale customer could have purchased obscured however they had not. Mrand Mrs*** requested after the installation that one more bottom sash in a different bathroom have obscured glass, which we can do however the charge is $60.00, which customer has paid. The part is on order and is expected 9/20/16; we will be calling as soon as it is checked into set up an appointment At time of installation it was noted on the completion certificate that one of the windows had a bent screen. This has been ordered and will be in 9/20/and will be installed with the new sash. Unfortunately in the manufacturing or shipping process the screen was damaged, of course this will be replaced free of charge and as timely as possibleRegarding the permit, per the attached addendum Mr*** signed the addendum the same day as the contract. This addendum states that if a permit is needed one would be obtained and billed to the customer. The cost of this was $The customer will not be refunded for the additional obscured bottom sash and the permit, our contracts are very clear to insure that the customer gets everything they had ordered. Thank you *** ***

I have spoken with customer regarding installation and the installation of the windows has been set up and the issue has been resolved at this point

Hello -- I am rejecting it, because in the contract it is written that there should be an obscure window in the MBR, although that is not what was said.  Therefore, since it is on the contract it is not being acknowledged from a customer service aspect that the we the consumer, wanted our windows done exactly the way they were before they were removed.  I am not, and will not continue to argue with Window World, however I am not pleased that they will not honor that piece of the business.  My concern is not the contract and them attaching it to this complaint.  However, they are changing the basis of what we signed up for and that is POOR SERVICE!  They should at the very least take care of the cost for the obscure window.  They have also stated our windows would be in Wednesday, which was yesterday and we still have not heard back.....

Ordered windows for my entire house back in the spring, they told me 6-8 weeks. 10 weeks later I called several times and they said the door wasn't in but they are hoping it will get there tomorrow and they will call me right away, which they did not, called again and they said it would be in the next week's delivery, so when it came in they called to schedule the installation, only half the windows were there, they could only install less than half since they were the wrong size also. Then the ones they did install they raped me another 30 for trim for these windows even though the man who measured and quoted said I wouldn't need trim, the trim wasn't added to the initial bill, (I had a years free financing) and that part of the bill I am now being charged interest on. They finally finished the install over 3 1/2 months from my initial order and I was enjoying the windows until it became winter and now ice is on the inside of ALL the windows and cold air is shooting out of the holes on the bottom of all the windows so I have completely wasted my money on trying to upgrade these windows. Do not use Window World if you want quality installers/measurers and windows.

Review: The window the installed was not finished properly until a week later after I called to let them know and the door that was installed is crack and broken. Someone came to look at the door on 4/23/14 and I have not heard back from anyone. Also the woman who said she was the GM was very rude on the phone. They have cashed my check and I have a broken door.Desired Settlement: I need someone to come and replace my door and I should be compensated somehow.
