In regards to this complaint,customer was informed back in April that product warranty is with the manufacturer, and that [redacted], Roanoke, Va. had been sold to T[redacted], Pittsburgh, Pa. I tried to get replacement glass from them with no success. I informed customer, [redacted] that...

I would try to get a replacement of unit from another supplier or he could contact a glass manufacturer himself, and that I would install it at no cost to him.We decided to again let me try to get the unit from [redacted], and was to let him know the results.I then found out that the Roanoke plant had been closed permanently. I then ordered the ig unit from [redacted], and am waiting for it to arrive. I contacted Mr. [redacted] last Thursday Sept. 10th, and he informed me that he would let the Revdex.com know that I had contacted him, and that the problem is resolved.I told him that this was an issue with a manufacturer that is no longer in business, and that it was an issue that I had no control over. I do not want my business reputation jeopardized over some one else's misfortune.

Review: I purchased windows from this company back in 2006 for my entire house, I was informed prior to purchasing that these windows have a lifetime warranty against defect. One on my windows interior seal broke whereby the glass is heavily fogged and happens to be embarrassing and an eye sore. I have made MANY attempts to contact owner, Artie and was informed in Novenber of last year that new glass was being made for this window that the company that made my windows went out of business, This company also installed a storm door last year on the front of my house and this company did not finish tje job. I just want what I paid for.

If the window maker did go out of business, what other options are available. I do not know because my calls are not returned. This has been going on for over 6 months, I simply am asking for a resolution.

Review: Attempts to reach the owner of the business to follow-up a warranty replacement of a window purchased for our home which failed in April of 2015 have been unsuccessful. The owner indicated in April that he would order replacement - follow up contacts from us have produced additional promises. Now, we are unable to reach him, and messages (at least six over the past three weeks) have not produced any return phone calls. If the business is not going to honor their warranty or assist us with resolution, we need to know that so that we may seek another vendor to correct the problem.Desired Settlement: Repair or Replacement of the defective window
