Review: Failed to provide service IAW the signed work order dated 14 June 2013 (replacement and installation of kitchen window). The work was paid in advance and we have the cashed check and signed work order.

Both the wife and I had made several attempts to resolve the issue via phone calls and Vmail - to include an email to the email listed on the company's website. On each occasion [redacted] (owner) has fail to respond or honor his commitment to complete the work.Desired Settlement: refund the money for the balance of work not completed

When we met I provided you with a business card and My WINDOWMO Proposal and also should have provided my cell # [redacted] / My window installer has had your sash and has also left several messages on the only phone # we have on file ( [redacted] ) My installers name is [redacted] and his cell # is [redacted] and he is awaiting your call or mine to immediatly come over and install your sash . Night or day work will be completed within one 1 hour / Im sorry I could not find the one e-mail I recd , but Im not great on computers .

Review: In 2002 [redacted] Windows Door and More installed a Therma Tru Fiberglass door unit. As part of the contract he was to use AZEK or equivalent synthetic wood to build out the frame and box above the new door.

This current year 2013 we realized that **. [redacted] used standard wood and the frame needed full replacement and repair at cost of $900. The frame rotted through. In addition, the Therma Tru door he installed has failed. Therma Tru is in the process of working with us on a warranty claim but it will cost $600 to replace the door slab.

Since **. [redacted] provide inferior service the first time even to a referral we proceeded for the repair on our own.

I also spoke to **. [redacted] on August 3, 2013 and emailed him. He was to put the Therma Tru field manager in contact with us.

We have not received a response. We feel that the installation was done in a defective manner so that the frame needed replacement as well as the door treated in a manner that caused it to fail.Desired Settlement: First since **. [redacted] charged us almost $3,000 for the door replacement and used inferior materials we would like a refund for the cost of the repair. We have spent $900 out of pocket and expect to spend another $600 for the slab replacement. We also spent $250 to $300 years prior to replace the box above the door.

As we do not trust his work we would like a refund of between $1,200 and $1,500 for the work that was done in error since we had to hire another carpenter to repair.

Also we would like **. [redacted] to honor his word and put the Therma Tru field manager in touch with us so we can get a new slab in the most expeditious fashion.
