Windsor Nissan Reviews (23)

Review: I purchased a 2010 [redacted] on October 12, 2013. The day that I purchased the car I was given a 20 day temp tag and asured that my permanant plates would arrive before the end of my temp tags. On the 19th day I contact the Dealership in reguards to when I would recieve my tags since I had not at this time. They informed me that the bank didnt accept my loan terms and rewrote a new agreement in which they were mailing out for me to sign the new papers. So I in turn went to my personal bank [redacted], to obtain my own financing. In the meantime I left several messages with the dealership about my tags. I was ensured that along with the packet being mailed, there too would be a new temp. tag. The tags were not in the packet. I again called and left messages at the dealership to have my call returned, which took several days each time. The next call I got from the dealership was that the person working on my sale was on vacation and would contact me upon thier return. Again I am waiting for tags to drive my newly purchased car. After going back and forth for several more weeks, I resorted to getting a rental car as I could not drive my car with no tags. Finally someone from the dealership called me in Dec to inform me that ** has an additional inspection that I was responsible to conduct at $73.00. I had the inspection completed and the car did not pass the inspection and requires a min of $256.00(repairs)+$73.00(inspection cost)=329.00 of repairs to be completed before I could pass inspection and recieve my permanant tags. On or about 1/1/14 I drove back to the dealsership to try and resolve this problem in person and the Sales man [redacted] and a finance manager informed me untill I returned the complete ** Inspection I would not get my tags. I asked the Dealership to just refund my money for taxes and tags, so I myself could go ahead and tag it the same day in my state. They refused to help me in any way at all, lying to my face that they had paid the taxes.Desired Settlement: I feel that the dealership should incur the charges for not only the ** inspection cost($73.00), but for any repair work($256.00) that is being done to pass inspection. Aswell as any cost incurred for my rental cars. In addition an apology for bad service to would be greatly appreciated. I have not been able to drive my new car for 2.5 months now and the dealership has done nothing to correct this misunderstanding or compenstate for the additional charges on top of the $11,000.00+, that I paid them for the car. In addition to the above stated problems I have never recieved the title for the car, in which the bank is asking for and threatening to impound my car if I dont provide the title to secure my loan. It would be very important that part of the outcome is to have the title mailed to the bank [redacted] the title so that my credit is not messed up from the loan being forfited.

We are in receipt of your letter dated February 12th, 2014 regarding [redacted]

We have made numerous attempts and left several messages for this customer that she needed to have the car inspected in [redacted] before we could issue her a registration. Several WEEKS passed. We finally received the inspection document we needed to proceed and it was sent in on January 31st. The agency received it on the 3rd of February and sent it out to [redacted] on the 5m of February. This is when we learned we could not register the car because of Motor Vehicle violations in the State of [redacted].

[redacted] our F&I Manager, spoke to [redacted] weeks ago about this. She said she understood the situation and was in the process of clearing up these violations with the State of [redacted]. Once this was taken care of [redacted] was to contact us to register the car.

[redacted] is deflecting her responsibility and it has nothing to do with Windsor Nissan

Review: On November 14, 2014 I purchased a 2010 Mazda3 from Windsor Nissan (Deal # [redacted]). The sales consultant was [redacted] The price listed on [redacted] and Windsor Nissan’s website was $10,600. This was confirmed with [redacted] upon my visit to the dealership. After I took the vehicle for a test drive, I decided to make a deal for the car. [redacted] then pointed out the following disclaimers that are listed on their website and [redacted], which greatly increased the price of the vehicle: Pricing on Certified Pre-owned vehicles does not include a $1,295 certification fee. Additional $795 dealer prep fee due at time of sale on all pre-owned vehicles, and $1000 Windsor Nissan Loyalty Incentive (the primary buyer must of purchased or leased a vehicle from Windsor Nissan in the last 24 months.) Price excludes taxes, mv, & doc fee. See dealership for details.

My issue lies with the $1,295 certification fee. The 2010 Mazda3 that I purchased was not and is not a Certified Pre-owned vehicle and the extra $1,295 should never have been added to the price of the vehicle, which it was. This was either done in error or in an attempt to take advantage of my lack of guerrilla sales tactics. As [redacted] told me several times on 11/14/14, the disclaimers are clear. I agree with [redacted] statement. The disclaimer clearly shows that I was scammed for $1,295.

I have tried numerous times to contact Windsor Nissan but they have not gotten back to me. This is my last step before taking them to court.Desired Settlement: Since the Mazda3 was not a Certified Pre-owned vehicle, I expect a full refund in the amount of $1,295 to be sent to me in the form of a check.

Review: 2 months ago I went into the nissan dealership to purchase a veichle. This would be my second time buying a car from

This dealership. I went there with my children's father(not married)

My plan was to get a veichle in my name with him as a co owner ONLY.

After about 5 hours of being there they said that the bank will not give a loan with me as a primary owner so I would have to be the co owner , I didn't like that idea but I needed a veichle so I agreed but made it clear that I would have to have to have some type of ownership. To the veicle . For insurances purposes it was very important!

They didn't have the paper work to the car untill about a week and a half later. They told my kids father [redacted] and I that we had to come in and sign even said it would be okay to do so at different times !

We both ended up going there together and when we did I was told I was not on the car . It was just lies from the very beggining

We were told with 1000 down we would pay 451.00 /month

But after about almost 2 weeks of waiting got paperwork the monthly payment increased to 478!

That was not the agreement .

We did give them a check for $400 with the intent to come give the $600 when the plates arrived .

At this time we were told 1000 down at 451/month

Not 478.00

It has been 2 months since the temporary tag expired.

Although they lied about the deal I offers to give them a post dated check for 1 week for the $600

First they agreed but when my children's father went there they denied , but over the phone they said it was okay .

This place is not right .

I had to do what I had to do but I would have been my last choice to get a car that I have no owner ship of with a man that I am not married with.Desired Settlement: I just need someone from that business to look into this to see it was not right and give me the plates to this car so I can go about my life .

We are in receipt of your letter dated December , 2014 regarding [redacted]. [redacted] came in to the dealership to purchase a vehicle. She was advised she could not go on the loan based on her credit history and score. There was a 1,000 deposit. Customer gave us a check in the amount of 400 and was to give us the remaining balance in 1 week. We gave them an additional discount of 100 leaving a balance of 500.00. It took them 2 months to pay the balance. It is a company policy; we do not accept postdated checks.Customer has picked up the plates.
