Wings of fun

Review: On Saturday, February 28, 2015 I held a birthday party for my one and two year old boys. We ordered a party package from Wings of Fun Party Rentals which included a space walk, pop corn and cotton candy machines, chairs and tables. The party was fine and the equipment was also fine. At the end of the evening the company sent two men to my home to pick up the equipment. Some of my family members were outside when one of the said men picking up the equipment asked for a plate of food, where the (explicit) beer was and if anyone had a cigarette. He asked these questions while eating the leftover popcorn directly from the machine. My husband told me so I went outside and asked that he please pick up the things and leave. Not even 5 minutes later my brother in law walks back outside to the same man walking back the company trailer with my husbands weed eater. We all then went outside and the man claimed my husband, who was inside at the time it was taken said he could have it. Which was a lie. I then confronted him and called the police. He left and also left the weed eater. I filed a police report in which the police officers knew the man on a first name basis and also informed me he was basically a career criminal. I called the company and was informed the situation would be looked into. I had to call several times the next day. I was asked "what did they want me to do about the situation?" I was appalled as was my husband. I now had to worry about this criminal thief coming back to my home to take God only knows what else. I have three small toddlers who I stay at home with alone DAILY. After fighting the issue I was then told he was fired and I would receive a full refund. The day after I was then told it would be an 80 dollar refund and 60 dollar credit. I've called several times to no answer and if they do answer I get hung up on. Finally I was told my refund was "expired", I was yelled at and talked over. It has been 30 days and I was not told about an expiration EVER. I am outraged. Desired Settlement: I would now like a FULL refund from this company. I should have been informed of an expiration but instead I was told I was trying to drag this issue on. MY HOME AND FAMILY WERE VIOLATED because this company obviously does not do background checks. The refund could have been mailed but there was absolutely horrid customer service. It is not easy for me to bring kids places with no help. I do NOT want a company credit because neither I or anyone I know will EVER use this company again.
