I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]My issue when I came there was to get a check engine diagnostic and the repairs to pass my emissionsI told them what had failed in the emissions report and asked them specifically if they can do a diagnostic on Audis because that was the sole reason I came to them and not one of the establishments near my house or an emissions recognized repair facilityMy car has not pass emissions and my plates are now suspendedI went ahead and got the Osensor replaced before my final date at another establishment, at which point they ran a OBD diagnostic and found several faults not mentioned in my check engine Diagnostic I got with WinkThis includes Secondary Air Pump(Which was the OEM code that came up during my emissions), Ignition Coil, Random Misfires, and likely my Catalytic Convertor since after miles of driving since fixing the dragging sensor, BOTH sensors are giving faultsmy old sensor might not have even needed to be replacedBefore I went to Wink, Autozone told me the sensors were giving faults for free, but they couldn't scan for the OEM faults. Yes I provided the parts, but I was given the part numbers from themSecond, the Osensor that was dragging they had spliced, they had told me that the connector didn't fit, but when I replaced it with the same part, I asked the person at AutoZone to check to make sure the connectors are the same in case I had to take the old connector back with me, both connectors matchedSo why did they splice it? They didn't know what they were doingAgain, they broke the harness for the Osensor connectors, didn't use any of the fasteners that came with the sensors to prevent it from dragging, or use zip ties(The other sensor is just wrapped parts under the hood)And I've spoken with my Audi dealership, with Napa, with the part supplier, with members of the audiworld and forum, and the part I originally supplied was the exact fitI sold(at a loss, because I couldn't return them) those parts to someone who own the exact same carEveryone I took the car to see if they could fix the dragging sensor or spoke with, all seemed to agree that they were either trying to screw me over or didn't know what they were doing. Add that to the fact they broke my oil pan, along with my car having all those additional issues they didn't diagnose just shows they were being sloppy rushing to get it done or didn't know what they were doingThe only reasonable resolution is refunding me the cost of the diagnostic(73.93) because they didn't diagnose anything, and I'd ignore the $repair at the other shop because they offered to fix it in their reply.

Outstanding service at a very reasonable price. I had to get a headlight rewired and they had to tear about half the car apart to get to the wire. I was astounded at how cheap the price was.It would have been triple at a dealer. I highly recommend this place.

First I'd like to say that this is not my first time patronizing this business and that my prior experiences have been positive, however that was several years ago. The level of customer service at this business is now very poor. I bought my vehicle to this repair shop to have an extensive wiring diagnostic done to discover the source of a draw on the vehicle's battery, a procedure which I was told would take 3-4 business days. I made an appointment to have the procedure done and bought it in at the appointed time. The receptionist stated they would call with the results of the diagnostic in a couple of days. After 5 days of no contact from anyone at the business I called requesting an update and was told "yeah we still don't know what the problem is, we're working on it. We should have an update for you on Monday". For the next 2 weeks every time I called for an update I was told there was no update because they still had not diagnosed the problem. During this time I often went to the business in person and saw that my vehicle was parked on the street outside the business instead of inside the garage being worked on. Finally after a month I was told I needed to have the instrument panel rebuilt and a new body control module installed. I was told this could be done within another week but it took another 2 weeks to finally complete the work. They never kept me updated about the progress of repairs. They never returned phone calls when they said they would. And never offered an apology for the ridiculous amount of time they took to complete the repairs. I'll never take a vehicle to this business again.

Review: On or about September 19, 2014 my vehicle was towed into Wink Auto. While in their custody / possession for repairs, my radio was taken/stolen, which led to additional damage to my car. Specifically, as a result of the radio being taken/stolen, the release to the trunk and gas tank are damaged, as well as the windshield wipers, blinkers, and right break light. I have contacted Wink Auto approximately four times. I have spoken with Quinton. Each time he told me the owner was not in and that he will need to review the videotape. He has yet to review the videotape or contact me.Desired Settlement: I want Wink Auto to pay me the cost to replace the radio and repair the issues described above. I estimate that it will cost around $800-$1000.

My husband took our car here after I got a quote from the dealer. Winks charged us about half what the dealer quote was and it was done the same day. Great service.

Review: I had been referred to Wink, because I was told they could diagnose my particular vehicle (an Audi) emissions failures.

As far as experience with Wink goes, it was pretty hectic throughout my various visits and I give them the benefit of doubt concerning that, since they were switching over to a new record system and so forth, and they had various managers or leads active during each one of my visits and they lacked communcation.

My problem initiated with "Q" who quoted me a price for the diagnosed repairs(O2 sensors) and told me if I wanted I could save some money and bring the parts in myself. I later called him and asked him the brand that was quoted(bosch) and the location(I didn't understand the difference between pre/post cat, bank, or up/down stream, but was told upsteam). It was Memorial weekend following my visit and I was able to get the parts on sale online.

My next visit, again more hectic, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The technician who had previously diagnosed my car and started working on it cracked my oil pan. They took it to get it fixed, no harm no foul. A process that should've taken 3 hours, turned into an all day thing and they hadn't began working on the O2 sensors until they got the pan fixed. I decided to leave, then an hour or two later, an hour before they close I get a call from "K" telling me my parts didn't fit. At this point I was really frustrated they broke my pan, and then I couldn't do anything with that knowledge at that time without a car and I was anticipating getting my car back the next morning. I spend the rest of that day walking to different auto part stores to try to find the parts before they close so that I could ride the bus to the shop and bring them replacement parts when they opened.

I get to the shop, the previous technician who broke my oil pan wasn't there, "K" wasn't there initially, and "Q" had been off the previous day and so he was confused as to what the issues were the previous day and couldn't explain to me or show me why the part didn't fit. The replacement sensors were much longer(About 40 inches longer), reviews all said they were too long for the O2 sensor location I needed installed, the other sensors were the exact fit(or so I thought) for the location.

I finally get the sensors installed, get my car back...I drive up the street and look under my hood and under body, I didn't want to check over their work in front of them, but I did want to make sure the oil pan wasn't dripping, if they had broke any more clips or fasteners on the covers engine covers(i didn't care if they had, it's just something I noticed after I came for the diagnoses). Right away, there was a few minor issues or I thought minor, the O2 sensor connector bracket was broken and a chord was dangling, but I wasn't sure if that was there before or not.

I get back in the car, drive around the block the check engine light comes on, I drive back around the block and pull into the lot. "K" does a diagnostic scan and says one of the sensors is bad(bank 2, sensor 1).

I talked to the auto parts store where I purchased the sensor, they told me to just drive the car for awhile and see if that resolves the issue. It's been 2 or 3 weeks now, 2 or 3 weeks of contemplating doing the repair myself, 2 or 3 weeks of learning. The reason I'm filing a complaint now, is today I walk out of a store and see under my car from a distance that same chord that was dangling is now laying on the ground. I look under the car and the chord is obviously an O2 sensor chord, installed in the location still having issues(bank 2, sensor 1). I still have to remove the sensor to trade it in with auto part store and pay someone to install it or purchase the tools to install it myself.

Initially, I didn't fault WINK because I purchased the parts, but them not installing the parts correctly to the point that it drags along the ground I'm not at fault there. The fact that I took a $50 lost in returning the previous parts(oepn box restocking fees), that I strongly believe fit in that location given the fact that the alternatives drag along the ground or wrapped around the engine compartment adds to my frustration. Then I'm left with the concern that they didn't even have the software to fully diagnose my car because my emissions report failed for O2 sensors and an OEM code, anyone could have scanned and got the O2 sensors, my concern which I repeated to Q was the OEM code.Desired Settlement: My goal all along has been to just pass my emissions test, so replacing that sensor and reassuring me that the OEM code isn't an issue, without additional cost and frustration is all I ask.

We at wink auto do apologize for the hectic things that were going on as the company has changed over our computer software. The customer supplied his own parts that were incorrect the first time. Our policy is if a customer brings there own parts and we go to install them and they are wrong the company will charge another labor cost to the customer because we didn't purchase the parts. If the customer can make a appointment and we will recheck the sensors that were supplied to us by the customer. If one did fail we can replace that part at no charge. This would be the last time we will do this at no charge. Thank you.
