I have rented a dumpster from the company and then got a surprise bill for $300 for an extra weight . Having use dumpsters in the past, and knowing exactly what was put into this dumpster, I firmly believe that the weight and the bill are incorrect . The customer service is not too friendly or helpful.
Review: The Holiday Inn Westbury had a contract with Winter Brothers up until May [redacted] 2015. The contract was never renewed. The Hotel decided to contract with another waste management company. Although the Holiday Inn Westbury is not under contract with Winter Brothers, they are stating that the Hotel needed to provide them with 30 days notice to discontinue service. In the meantime, Winter Brothers is not emptying their dumpsters and our trash, which is a health and overall cleanliness concern, along with the general appearance of the Hotel's property. When we called Winter Brothers they said the service has been terminated, yet they refuse to empty the dumpsters and remove them. The Holiday Inn Westbury has sent correspondence via fax with confirmation regarding this matter, and has had several telephone conversations.Desired Settlement: We would like for Winter Brothers to service their dumpsters on our property, and remove them as soon as possible. We have not been able to get a confirmation from the company as to what they will do, and how they will handle this situation. We have only been able to speak to one person, which is a sales representative, and she states that she is just following orders from her superiors. We have not been able to speak to any other person, accept one that answered a call earlier and confirmed service has in fact been terminated. Again, the desired outcome is to have the garbage emptied and the three dumpsters removed ASAP.
