MrCramer was hired on the recommendation of a local contractor to provide a structural engineering report on our home The report he provided for the $we paid him was a one page cover letter, which basically regurgitated the information the contractor and I had given him When we told him the report was not acceptable and asked for a full refund, he revised his report by adding a few more paragraphs of general information Still not acceptable and a useless report, we asked for a full refund He sent us a refund of $750, which is unacceptable He did not provide any useful services His report was looked at and deemed useless by other contractors and engineers, and by the city building inspector He was extremely unprofessional, rude and arrogant in the email communications that we had with him He has not responded to a letter from our lawyer dated July 31, 2017, demanding a full refund

I hired Cramer Engineering to evaluate my new home After problems arose with my new construction, I was made aware that the blueprints were not followed as designed In order to proceed with legal action, I needed a professional evaluation of the home which I hired Cramer Engineering to provideJames C*** came to my home, spent minutes and confirmed that the blueprints were not followed His price is normally $for the evaluation, but he said he did not feel he should charge me that much because it was such a simple evaluation I paid him $ I asked if I would still get a report confirming his findings and he agreedI offered to give him copies of the blueprints, but he was confident since he deals with this on a daily basis that he could write the report without my blueprint When I did not receive a report, I left emails and phone messagesWhen he did call back, he needed reminded of who I was, but confirmed that he would send the report out More time passed

Parts were lost during completion of work and no real solution was offered not communicated for the duration of more than a month.Brought parts for [redacted] to Winterville Machine to have work done to the bolt carrier group and stock. I was originally quoted $125.00 and after 2 weeks was emailed to notify the parts were completed and the price was now $190.00. With no authorization to this price they took upon themselves to complete the work at a significant price increase. When I picked the parts up I was told that the metal was harder than anticipated and different parts were needed to cut the metal and more time was needed to do so. The work was outstanding but upon inspecting the parts I noticed an integral part, the buffer spring, was missing. This would not be a big issue but this particular stock uses a compact design to reduce the stock by 3 inches. This requires for different dynamics in the spring weight and overall function. Only the company that makes this specialty stock ([redacted]) could replace it due to pending patents. I provided all the contact information to Winterville Machine and waited on them to replace the spring. After a week I called the shop back to check on any progress and they assured me that a part had been shipped as a replacement. The following week I called and was told the part had not arrived but they would call the company back. We made contact with several companies such as [redacted], [redacted], a [redacted] distributor in Canada, [redacted], etc, and all assured us that [redacted] items are currently on back order and hard to get. However, Winterville machine some how managed to contact the VP of [redacted]. Another week passed and I called to check on the part. No one knew anything about the part and became very rude of the issue and offered no support in helping me resolve the issue. After pleading with the employee to put me in contact with [redacted], the employee handling the case, I was finally patched through to his phone. He again assured me that it was mailed and that they would call [redacted] back. Today (11/24) a partner and myself went to Winterville machine to deal with the issue after ,my partner had called repeatedly to get an answer from someone. When we got there, we were directed to a gentleman named [redacted] who provided us with email documentation that on Nov. 18th he had emailed [redacted] and a part was mailed. He then gave me the information to contact [redacted]. We managed to contact [redacted] and requested the part be mailed directly us. Once we returned to our shop, [redacted] called and through the phone implied that we had made contact with [redacted] and it was now in our hands. Winterville machine not only put me behind schedule on this [redacted] build but did not communicate updates, in some situations I feel lied about the issue, treated me as though business was not important and eventually passed the work to me offering no compensation in return. The entire situation was handled with gross negligence and little to no care for the client's personal time line for completion of a project. The worst part of this situation is that I the customer had to resolve the issue completely myself and I am now in contact with [redacted] at the expense of my time and potential loss of my client.Desired SettlementA replacement spring was needed but after a month passed and weeks of being off schedule no solution was given, no reimbursement for work or time lost.
