Thank you for the offer. I am not rejecting your offer however- when I went to download the pictures  they did not turn out because it was too dark. Would you accept letters from guests who were there and had water drip on them? I was lining them up for small claims court anyway and they said they would either write letters or come to court if need be.

This is nothing but a lie. The owner's own manager- [redacted]- admitted to both me and my wife on the phone that there were holes when the tent was tested- but not big enough for rain to POUR through. I had never said rain poured through but there were 8 holes and rained dripped onto my guests and the tables through all of them.  There were already several areas of the tent that had patches on them. I understand things wear out but that isn't my vault or my responsibility.  It is Wisconsin Rental Center's. All my guests were already in my house by the time the heavy rains came so lack of side panels played NO part in them getting wet.  And now for the owner to bold face LIE about the presence of holes tells a lot about his character. Especially since he refused to talk to me on the phone when I called.  Maybe going to small claims court and showing the judge the pictures I have showing the water dripping down would change his mind? It will be much more expensive that route for him and I wanted to avoid  the time and expense.  One final chance to do the right thing.

Please be advised we have refunded the total cost of the tent for Mr. [redacted].  A credit of $132.00 was issued on his credit card on today's date (Sept. 5, 2014) combined with  a credit issued on July 16, 2014 totals $182.56 which represents all costs associated with the rental of a 20x20 tent canopy.

Review: I rented tables, chairs and a 20 x 20 tent from this establishment for my son's High School Graduation dinner party on July 12th. The reason for renting the tent was based 100% on protecting my guests from the possibility of rain. I have a shaded back yard. I paid $175 for the tent and additional for the tables, chairs and delivery and set up of the tent. The items were delivered on July 11th and the crew that came out were friendly and professional. On July 12th we served dinner just before it started to rain (around 6 pm)- lightly at first and then heavier and heavier until 8 pm when a downpour occurred. As soon as the rain started- I noticed some of my guests scrambling to different areas of the tent. There were 8 places in various areas of the tent that rain was dripping down onto the tables, food, drinks and my guests themselves. As the rain increased, the more rain dripped downand the more difficult it was to keep my guests dry and I had to bring all of them into house. I contacted Wisconsin Rental and they have come back with the offer of giving me a 15% refund on my entire rental ($50) and 15% off my next rental. I spoke to the Manager - [redacted]- and informed him this was not acceptable and I had no problem paying for the tables and chairs since they did get some use or for the delivery and set up since it was done very well. My problem was paying the $175 for a defective tent that did not protect my guests from the rain which again was the ONLY reason I decided to rent a tent in the first place. [redacted] reminded me the rain was very heavy starting at 8 pm and I hadn't rented side panels and inferred that is how my guests got wet because "the rain was coming in sideways". My guests were all in the house by the time the rain came down that hard because of the rain that was dripping down on them from above. I asked to speak to the owner but he refused and told [redacted] to tell me "go to the Revdex.com and let them decide."Desired Settlement: Since the tent had 8 holes in it and did not do what it was supposed to- protect my guests from the rain- I feel I should get refunded the $175 for the tent. It is not my fault the tent was defective. The offer of a 15% discount on my next rental is beyond belief as I would never use this company again.

Review: I reserved a UHaul 5X10 trailer for Wednesday, July 24th and picked it up at 12:38pm. The agreement and receipt stated the the trailer should be returned by 7/29/13 by 1pm (or an additional charge would incur).

I returned the trailer on Sunday evening (7/28/13) but was charged for 7/29 and 7/30. The rep on the phone initially said, "we didn't see it until Tuesday." I assured him that it was returned on Sunday and that it wasn't my fault if they did not see it (although it was parked RIGHT WHERE I PICKED IT UP; IN FRONT OF THE OFFICE!).

Wisconsin Rental Center said they would still have to charge me extra. I hung up, re-read my contract and receipt, and called them back to state my claim. This time the rep said he would review the issue and call me back.Desired Settlement: My bank account was overdrawn as a result of their error, so they charged me a $35 fee. So now I'm out $31 from UHaul and $35 from my bank, which equals $66. I expect a refund of that amount. This is their mistake. I returned the trailer a day earlier than the due date that my agreement states.

We received your letter of 07/31/2013 regarding a complaint of [redacted]. We did refund $63.00 to reflect the corrected charges. Please review the attached documents.

1. We have many U-Haul trailers that we check in on a daily basis. The vast majority of all of our customers normally follow procedures and either notify us with a phone call the next day, or, according to instructions that they receive at the time of rental, deposit the

paperwork in the U-Haul drop box. [redacted] did not deposit any paperwork to indicate the return of the trailer nor called us the following day to indicate the return of the trailer.

2. When we received notification from [redacted], because he received an email from us, showing the charges we IMMEDIATELY reversed the charges and he paid the amount as he indicated for a return of the U-Haul trailer on July 29th.

3. We always encourage and ask the customer for a credit card to avoid bank holds on debit cards. [redacted] chose to use his debit card.

Attached is evidence of the transaction showing immediate refund of the charges for the extra days. Also, attached is the transaction showing the corrected amount.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

However, the company did not review any return policy with me; two young boys (who argued with one another throughout the transaction) checked out the trailer to me and did not explain any return policy regarding paperwork, follow-up phone calls, etc.

Furthermore, the Wisconsin Rental Center did not advise me to use a credit card vs a debit card.
