Response:

A made named [redacted] was selling his home. A home inspector determined that he had 4 seal failures in his home. As part of the home sale Neil was to have the 4 pieces of glass replaced. Neil contacted Wisconsin Weatherall to replace these pieces of glass. These were windows that we did not originally install. We agreed with Neil to replace these pieces of glass if he would pick them up and have them at his house ready for us to install them. We wrote up a proposal and Neil paid us $300 in advance for this service. His home closing went through and the glass had not arrived yet. Neil told the new owners that they would have to pick up the glass and have Wisconsin Weatherall install it.Wisconsin Weatherall was not told we would be working with the new owners. We have never met them and knew nothing about them. One of the new owners, [redacted], called Wisconsin Weatherall on Monday April 25th and left a voice mail stating that she was picking up the glass on Wednesday April 27th and would like the glass installed on Monday May 2nd if possible. Kate calls a second time on Friday April 29 at 8:06 p.m. and asks again that we contact her to set up the install.[redacted] husband [redacted] files a complaint the next day with the Revdex.com on Saturday April 30. Saturday morning Wisconsin Weatherall leaves to go to Tomahawk WI for an install that we are doing up there. On Monday May 2, I check my voice mail and see that Kate has left me two voice mails. I call her back and leave her a message stating that we will be out of town for a few days and that I will call her when I return to set up the glass service.I return to town Tuesday May 3 at 9:00 P.M. I check my emails and see that Kate and [redacted] have filed a complaint against Wisconsin Weatherall Windows. I call their house and talk to Kate. She denies filing a complaint against us. Her name, email and phone number are on the complaint. I insist it had to be her. She then says it might have been her husband who did this. The conversation ends when she hangs up on me.[redacted], her husband, calls me back and immediately begins using profanity and swearing at me. He states that he wants to meet somewhere to fight. I state that we do not work with unreasonable people. I told him that I was doing Neil a favor and don't even know him or his wife. I told them that I was going to return the $300 that Neil paid me for the service and that they could find someone else to do their service work.I called Neil the next day and told him about this incident. I told him that I was going to return his money. He apologized and said he was sorry. He told me he would take care of it himself.Since then [redacted] has proceeded to slander Wisconsin Weatherall on Google+ by giving us a negative review. I don't even know these people and have never met them, they do not, nor ever had a signed contract or document with Wisconsin Weatherall. Every one of our customers who has met us know we do what we say and are ethical professionals. Two phone calls and then filing a complaint withe the Revdex.com is something that would never had happened if these people had met us and indeed were our customers! The complaint was even filed 3 days before they originally stated what day would be good for them to have us over to do their service.[redacted]
