[redacted] bought the car on Saturday 2/We had to deliver the car to her the next week after she completed all of her paperwork on Saturday because we were not finished with the used vehicle inspection Apparently when we delivered the vehicle the inner fender was missing a very small rivetShe brought the vehicle back in the next week to our service department and was supposed to pick the car up the following dayWe agreed to fix the fender well and rivet at no charge to the customer and apologized for overlooking itWe ran a fuel consumption test on the EquinoxWe drove it miles at an average speed of MPH and recorded MPGWhile the car was in our dealership we received a call from GM financial stating that they were not funding the deal because the customer would not cooperate and refused complete the customer interviewThe customer interview is what the banks do to confirm that the buyer is who they say they areWhen we found out that the bank wasn’t going to fund the deal our sales department contacted ***At this point she informed us that she was backing out of the dealKeep in mind [redacted] has given us a down payment and signed a GM Financial contractWe have gone out of our way to deliver the car to her houseWe fixed the repairs on a vehicle that was sold for no chargeOur Staff packaged the contract and mailed it to the lender and also packaged all of the licensing documents and had them prepared to send to the courthouse for licensingWe have no way to enforce the contract because she refused to do a customer interviewSince the customer backed out of the deal we kept the partial payment to offset our costs, miles on the car and the week in which she drove itWe have since sold this car to a very satisfied customer with nothing but praiseThis was strictly a case of buyer’s remorse in our opinionNo one ever called her a liar, we simply stated the actual fuel economy that the car was gettingWe also tried to convince [redacted] to continue to keep the vehicle or possibly switch to something elseWe do not call our customers liars, we inspect every vehicles sold which is why we made her wait for delivery to ensure the vehicle was properly inspected and safe for saleI can provide documents of all of the contracts, vehicle ROs in the shop, and even pictures of the fuel consumption test if you would likePlease feel free to contact myself or [redacted] at the storeI apologize that the first notice was not responded toIt just never made it to the right person to respondPlease do a google search on our store, you will see we take customer satisfaction very seriously [redacted] ***GMCountry ChevroletBenton, KY
