After offering a rate 5X the competitors as a "Christmas special" I told them I already received a lower quote from themThey lowered their "Christmas special rate" to 2X the competitors but still obviously inflated compared to the marketI went with a different company and said I would rather pay 3X with a different company than to go with WizIQThe sales rep already sent me a harassing email decided it would be ideal to harass me more via email Here's one email "You will pay three times more than what WizIQ offers, I really don;t think so!! I have been in the market for software capable of conducting live online classes for the community college that I work at WizIQ had come up in internet searches, so I decided to check it out along with a few others WizIQ has a "trial account" that allows you to test drive the service, so I created a free account using my work email credentials only I purposely did not include any phone numbers with my account information, and the account creation tool even said that the phone number was optional
Shortly after creating the account, I had already received an email from the company about the service and verifying my account I also received a personal email from an employee identifying himself as my "account manager" The emails were more or less expected though After spending a little bit of time with the software and service, I then continued about my other work duties as usual
A couple of hours later my personal cell phone begins ringing with a number that I didn't recognize, but I was in class and unable to answer I get a voice mail from this same "account manager" employee that had sent the email earlier wanting to talk about the service I did not give them that (or any) phone number Needless to say I was really rather confused and a little freaked out
I get back to my computer and notice an update from my LinkedIn account This employee had stalked me online and found my LinkedIn page He apparently scraped all of my personal information from the resume I had uploaded there - my personal cell phone number, my work phone number, and my personal email address - all of the information that I did NOT provide the company and had no intention of providing the company
I started receiving emails to both my work and personal accounts After getting phone calls on different occasions in less than hours, I finally blocked the phone number This is an atrocious way of conducting business Creating a free account is not an invitation to gather up all my information from around the internet

I have been continuously following up with CEO,Mr Harman Singh to pay my pending. Unfortunately, commitments failed both from Harman and Sandeep Aneja from Kaizen Private Equity.

This really is showcasing the way WizIQ treats people.

As a Missionary my 84-year Old sponsor and I felt we ne an Internet/ONLINE TELIVISION platform to reach out with "THE GOOD NEWS" of [redacted] to the whole world!

I was therefore to contact WizIQ for that particular product. WizIQ told me that though theirs is only Online/Teaching platform that basically hosts 25 per "classroom setting" I might have our desired product of using WizIQ as an "Internet/Online Platform in a Matter of Weeks", urging me therefore to register anyway, which I did joyfully!

In June December 2013 therefore, I registered for this "Online TV" product whereupon, I was asked to keep on checking if our "desired product was available" so we could start our "Online TV Broadcast Transmissions"!

Any time I call WizIQ whether the product was ready for us to start with, I would be told to call again "by the next week". The "next week" then become Months and then years; until finally, My sponsor and I became suspicious, eventually asking WizIQ to refund the Registration/Product fee of $100.00 to me! The process of refund absolutely fell on death ears - schemed with unethical, unprofessional and tactical "bureaucratic red tapings"!

This began my lengthy frustrations leading WizIQ Staff constantly blocking my phone Number and thereby preventing me from having direct access to them both individually and corporately; thus taking us that long period to now finally appeal directly to the highest echelon of WizIQ if they may perhaps intervene and refund the product Cost of $100.00 to me! It never happened!!!

I therefore had no other choice but, with diligence someone gave me the Name and Address of the CEO of WizIQ in its Head Office (AutoGen Technologies Pvt. Ltd, C-133, Fourth Floor, Industrial Area Place, Phase 8, Mohali, India XXXXXX) Chandigarh, India if perhaps he would understand the situation to refund the amount involved to us!

The WizIQ CEO, Mr. [redacted], then referred my email Petition to a Senior Staffer with the Company, Mr. [redacted], who asked me to contact him by phone or email to have this matter resolved ASAP! He also suddenly "lost Contact" with me. Very Strangely, indeed!

Meanwhile, though I sent detailed emails to Mr. [redacted] giving him details of what happened with our transaction, the product and the $100 amount involved, he would neither respond to my emails nor desperate telephone calls - which are only casually and rarely received by his Associates with the same old excuses, "Mr. [redacted] ( or whoever) is NOT IN THE OFFICE" or "gone home"!

Today, after pressing on to Speak with Mr. [redacted], he finally surfaced telling me by phone that "ONLY $50.00 of the total amount would be refunded" to me!

He promised to get back to me by email, only to write that they were not going to refund the total amount to me siting the following reasons which is completely different from the fact on the ground! The following is a copy of Mr. [redacted]'s email designed to throw dusts into the eyes of anyone who cares to know the truth:

HI,

It was a pleasure speaking to you. As discussed, You bought this plan in Dec 2013 for 18 months. Since you faced lot of problems, considering those problems we further extended your account for another 12 months in June 2015. Now your account is expiring in June 2016. So actually you got 30 months in $100. At this moment the refund is not possible as the duration of the service is almost over. I understand that you never used the service but our service was available for you. We reserved your account to be used on our server.

I look forward to your response.

Despite having cancelled my membership and emailing/calling WizIQ reps to avoid an auto-renew, they took money from my account anyway and won't refundIn the summer of 2014 I was attempting to switch my 10 year old brick-and-mortar math tutoring business to a virtual classroom. I contacted WizIQ and attempted to try out their product after reading good reviews about them on the internet. Unfortunately, I was given very limited access to the product and could not base a decision on what I was experiencing. I was pressured into signing up for their services for $190 for 12 months, with 3 months thrown in free. I agreed so that I could actually set up the virtual classroom and attempt some trials with my current students on my newly-purchased computer hardware. I also began a trial of [redacted] concurrently. After a few days, it was obvious that [redacted] was the clear winner. I attempted to get a refund from WizIQ but no matter who I called or who I emailed, I never got help. I found they were OVERLY HELPFUL on the SALES side of things, and unethically NOT HELPFUL when it came to refunds, complaints, or apologies. After futile attempts and much frustration, I gave up and told myself I would write it off as a business expense on my taxes. So basically I spent $190 for a couple days of trial runs. I went online and cancelled my account so that it would not renew after the 15 months had passed. When the 14th month had passed, around Oct of 2015, I received an email telling me that I would have another $190 automatically taken out of my checking account for my yearly renewal. I tried emailing, logging in, calling, etc. TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING. However, they withdrew $190 on Oct 27, 2015. I was furious and when I finally got someone one the phone he told me that it was my fault and that there would be a penalty for cancelling. I told him the whole story and that I'd sue if he did not get me a FULL refund. I find this business to be incredibly dangerous. They have access to my bank account that apparently I CANNOT TURN OFF of my own free will. I am so disgusted. I demanded to speak with someone in the United States but only got reps from India. I love India and I love Indians but the unjust, unfair, unethical way they conduct business will make me think twice about ever doing business with this type of company again. So I feel like they have stolen $380 from me and have no intention of giving it back. Any help you can provide me will be greatly appreciated. I have a history of emails to back up my claims.Desired SettlementAt a minimum, I want the $190 refunded to me WITHOUT ANY KIND OF PENALTY and ALL TIES TO THIS COMPANY SEVERED, including their ability to pull from my checking account.Ideally, I feel I also deserve a refund for the original $190, AND an apology, AND them admitting they illegally renewed my membership and illegally stole from my bank account, AND a change in their policies that allows them to blame the customer and threaten them with "termination penalties" etc. This company is so unethical. I have no issues whatsoever with [redacted]....I never get the run-around. WizIQ is not ethical in responding to customers' complaints satisfactorily and I pity the next victim. I will never recommend them.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]Hi [redacted]On behalf of WizIQ, I apologize for the charge on your credit card. No ethics!March 2013 paid for website and Learning Management System to teach computers.WIZIQ has not to delivered and when asked to fix the site, and meet requirements, they ask for more money.WIZIQ response to not delivering service to have me purchase their new service Online Academy which came out 2 months ago.I asked them how in the world can you take my money don't deliver a working product, then state oh this other product works give me more money.WIZIQ outsourced the site development and never sent the developer the requirements I gave them.In order to teach a class you need to add a teacher, the site delivered does not work.In order to register for class, student need to click student registration, this does not work.Desired SettlementOver two years 4500 dollars and as of 4/28 we get on the phone with the developer and state, "it's not working" and your response is buy something else. I paid in my fee for 1yr use of their platform but find I am caught up in a group of scammers - similar in practice to '[redacted]'.I joined Wiziq.com in Aug.2012 whilst in the process of writing my book '[redacted]..' as I was seeking a platform from which to teach [redacted] 1 in a virtual classroom setting. I told the rep to whom I spoke what & how I wanted to present my course. I was invited as a free member via emails to various classes that was supposed to familiarize me with how their system. Most of the classes were cancelled and rescheduled but I participated in on that demonstrated how to use the '[redacted]' system that they claimed. As I continued to write my book for [redacted] I got many calls from various sales reps encouraging me to move to paid up membership but declined to pay by explaining that though the course was already written my book was not yet complete and I couldnt then use the platform as they were meant to go together. This too because no course of its kind was yet being presented on the site and since my work was not yet copyrighted I wouldnt take that chance. I was in 2013 invited to a free [redacted] for Teacher course with [redacted] via email. Upon handing in my work after 4weekends of 1hr participation I was told by the instructor when I told her I attended so as to learn to teach [redacted] that '[redacted] could not be taught using [redacted]' and that this was her private free classes, not wiziq - they only hosted. I disagreed with her on the point that [redacted] as I intended to teach it couldnt be taught in [redacted] but exited the class a bit confused as Wiziq sent me the invitation. When I inquired I was again told that as a paid up member things would be explained. In April 2014 I got a call from their sales rep [redacted] informing me that their annual fees was about to be increased and they are giving me a chance to take advantage of the old price. Since my book was already in the hands of the publisher and almost ready I made a wiretransfer using my [redacted] card from my bank ([redacted]) on May 5 '14 of US$208.00 to their [redacted] # [redacted] for which they had attached a [redacted] address. Upon receipt of the funds I asked [redacted] how to proceed and was again invited to a class - which again showed whiteboard demonstration. I asked the instructor how would I apply what he taught to how I wanted to present my course as it didnt specify in a way that applied to what I explained that I wanted to do. I was yelled at and told to wait for further instructions as he was not in a position to explain issues concerning my account. Now I was upset and at this time Mr[redacted] entered the pic and announced that he was my account manager who would deal with everything concerning my account. Again I explained and was told that they only present courses like mine in Powerpoint 2010, I was taken aback but since it was a few months before the book would be out I though I would take the time to learn Powerpoint. By Nov my book was published and the course was ready for upload. I first sent it to Mandeep along with an ecopy of the book so he could see what he would be working along with, he complemented the course as being good but No response about how I should move forward until I asked and was told they are off for the holidays. in the first week of Jan I again had to send emails and Skype messages to him and was told that they I was not sending my emails to the correct email (he has used several)hence noone is responding. I sent emails to him and the admin in general with no response until I threatened them. Then I was told on Jan 19 via Skype call that they will send me a tutorial on how to upload my course as they were not seeing it. I had no guidance before on this. When it was finally uploaded I then got a letter saying that my course couldnt be presented via virtual space but pre-recorded. I wrote back saying I was already a member of Udemy where they sell recorded courses without a membership fee. I wanted a virtual classroom platform. I requested my money back but no response. Desired SettlementI want my payment back in full as clearly these guys are scammers...like the '[redacted]' taking the fool a little further and each time collecting more money. It is almost 1year since I paid to use the platform - after being a member for 2 yrs and still they cannot tell me how they can provide me with the platform to present my course. This is after investing in a new computer, the [redacted] course and 1 failed attempt of sending them the money as a 0 was missing from the account # which cost me all of US$70.00 (before they changed the old fee & they still charged me the new fee irrespective)based on their instructions that [redacted] was what they use. Each time an issue arises with my account they produce new individuals in some obviously chumped up position to take me around another bend that ultimately leads no where. I want my US$208.00 back in full as I have not had a chance to use their system. I really didnt like what was presented in their vague contract but then I had already paid in the money when it was presented.First they said I would use a [redacted] then [redacted], then [redacted] and now [redacted] again in the last correspondence that I read. This is after telling me that they can present my course as laid out in [redacted]. This they say because I included [redacted] videos...[redacted] are tools included in [redacted].They are able to twist persons around by using many different reps to handle 1 issue and as Mr [redacted] informed me in Jan that the members of the team are not in one place and therefore the lengthy delays in response and dis-accord in their instructions. Mr [redacted] had my material and the book in hand for 2 weeks and did nothing to assist me as my account manager. The instructor of the [redacted] class said she was also a [redacted] and that [redacted] was not appropriate - this made me suspicious as I wondered where and what she had learned as [redacted]. Now I ensured that I got int. copyright on my work before trying to present it as a safeguard there. And sure as fate when I uploaded my course I noticed they were now presenting similar courses. I found it odd that my account manager didnt know that I should have received a tutorial video on h ow to upload my course and took all of 2 weeks to get the person with that instructions to get to me with it. I also refuse to believe their accounts on their numerous blunders which all sound like 'the right hand not knowing what the left is doing'. I refuse to communicate with them any further I just want my money back as they failed to satisfy my needs. They only jump into actions when I threaten them - especially with Revdex.com - Im being serious! I work 10hrs/day in order to keep my business going and refuse to have a group of men without scruples rob me of it.Please help me get justice. Again I am complaining of foreigner who use a USA business address to woo clients in when they are remote have no intention of honoring the laws of the land. Please examine the contract they offer to independent instructors after collecting their money.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Business Response We spoke to our client and addressed all her concerns. She said she will send a written response to Revdex.com that her issue has been addressed. Consumer Response I did receive a call from Mr [redacted] asking what I wanted as a resolve. I said I wanted my full refund. On 30/3/15, I got a deposit that was less($25) than the $208.00 sent. I received $180 in total. However I consider that this case is now closed. I want nothing further to do with this bunch.Thank heavens for Revdex.com. I hope you shall always be here for us.Final Consumer Response

Briefly, I expect a refund of $240 from Wiziq as I discontinued my business relationship with the company in 2014.After having reviewed my bank activity on Oct 16, 2015 I became aware of a debit/draft by [redacted] for $190. Unable to identify the business, and after some research I found out that the above mentioned company is affiliated with WIZIQ. I became acquainted with WIZIQ in the summer of 2014, when I opted for Spanish Online Tutoring. For several weeks by electronic communication as well as by telephone with the technical/support department of the said company, and specifically, [redacted]., I was forced to cancel my membership due to family illness and urgency which took up almost all of my time while leaving me no time to efficiently apply to online tutoring. At the time I had paid $50 towards $200 yearly membership which I was not refunded back, in the light of the fact that WIZIQ was aware of my reason to discontinue my business with them. Moreover, I clearly recall that my decision to cancel had been fully understood by WIZIQ and that I was not liable for any future fees/charges, then or thereafter. When I became aware of the bank debit, I had the following thoughts;Who or what entity is [redacted]?How did they access my bank information? After some online research I found out that [redacted] had merged with WIZIQ.Furthermore, when I paid the $50 in 2014, it was to WiziQ and not any other entity. I immediately contacted WIZIQ, by electronic chat.....I was told to email [redacted] to resolve the issue which I did and to which I received no reply. I tried to utilize contact with [redacted] electronically and leave message but that element of the page did not work. I tried to call the [redacted]-----to which call the response was; "out of service."To make one more attempt, I contacted WIZIQ customer relation's department at [redacted] that had me call another number; [redacted]. I called the second number but no one answered. I had finally had it with the run-around.Consequently, as I recognize the intentional lack of interest and response to my numerous attempts in request of a refund for $240 $190 + $50 from WIZIQ, INC., I see no other choice but to file this complaint with Revdex.com.Desired SettlementI am requesting a refund of $240 without disputation or delay.Business Response Contact Name and Title:[redacted]Contact Phone: +1[redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]Hi[redacted],I apologize for the inconvenience caused due to auto charge on your credit card. As such, we were not able to find any information about your WizIQ account. We are checking with our Finance team and will be going ahead and processing your refund. This will be done within the next 24-48 hours. Once again, I apologize on WizIQ behalf.Regards,[redacted]Consumer Response [redacted] contacted me via email shortly after my statement of complaint through Revdex.com. As per [redacted] the refund should have been posted to my account within one or two days after his response. However, as of 25th of December it is not in my account activity. Also, the additional $50 paid to Wizeiq towards the membership in 2014, as per [redacted] is supposed to be deposited in my [redacted] account which as of last evening did not appear to be there.By Monday 28 of December, the process of all refund must be completed or I would consider this procrastination and delay equal to lack of compliance with promise/agreement in relation to the refund.Final Business Response Hi[redacted],As mentioned in my last email dated December 22, the refund of $190 has already been processed from our end. I will be sending you the refund transaction ID shortly after getting the same from Finance team. Rest assured, that refund is already processed. For $50 refund, as I mentioned that the payment was done last year and we had no record of refund request, so I had to get a special approval from our finance from the same. Due to Holidays, I was not able to get hold of my finance team. However, let me assure you that $50 will also be refunded within the next 24 hours to your [redacted] account [redacted].Final Consumer Response I am pleased to inform Revdex.com that Wiziq has refunded my money as of today, December 29, 2015. Accordingly, I have no further disputation with the said organization.Thank you,[redacted]
