Review: On Saturday 7/**/2013, I left my Cadillac SRX at the parking facility at [redacted] at approximately 6:15 p.m. After dining at a local restaurant we returned to pick up my car at approximately 11:00 p.m. The parking attendant, [redacted] retrieved my car. My husband and myself entered the car. My husband was driving. He paid the parking attendant and we drove away. Two blocks away we looked for the remote access key which should have been in the car but could not locate it. We returned to the parking facility and asked [redacted] where the remote key was. He said he had never taken it out of the car. We at the time searched the car and could not locate it. We were afraid to turn the car off in case the remote was not in the car as we suspected. Without the remote key the car is not able to be turned on. We decided to drive home and told [redacted] to continue looking for the key. We left our name & phone number so we could be contacted when the remote was located. When we arrived to our NJ home, we turned the car off and as we suspected the remote was not in the car. We immediately called the garage back. At the time, [redacted] had gone home for the night and [redacted] was working the shift. We explained to [redacted] our situation and he said he would speak with his manager. [redacted] advised us to call back on Monday 7/** to speak with [redacted], the manager. On Monday, I spoke with [redacted] who was not able to explain where my remote could be. I asked [redacted] how they were going to remedy the situation as I was now missing my remote key which would cost me over $350 to replace. [redacted] said he would speak to his supervisor. [redacted] took down my name and number and said his supervisor would call me back. I requested his supervisor name & phone number as I would like to contact them directly. He declined to give me that information and said someone would be contacting me but could not tell me when I would receive a call. It is now Weds. 7/** and I have yet to hear from anyone at WM Parking Corp.Desired Settlement: I would like my remote access key to be replaced. The cost to replace the remote key is approximately $350.

At this time, I have not been contacted by WK Parking Corporation regarding complaint ID [redacted]. However, I took my car for service and while it was there the mechanic found the remote key in the engine of the car. The dealership informed me that they are aware of scams being done at parking garages or businesses that offer valet parking where the remote key is deemed lost when in actuality it is being put in the engine of the car. Days later the car is stolen. I inform you of this so that you make a record of this complaint in case there are any similar cases reported in the future in regards to this parking garage.
