Wojcik Window Washing

Review: The paragraph's below wass the e-mail I sent to Wojcik Window Washing regarding an appointment they cancelled at the last minute. It has been a week, and I still have not heard from them and am very dissatisfied with their lack of professionalism and lack of response to this issue. They have a 5-Year Price Lock and it has been approximately (4) years since I last used their Service. I am not sure if they overbooked jobs for the day mine was scheduled, or if they decided to work with a new customer (without the 5-Year Price Lock) where they could make more money.

I have left (3) messages for someone to call me regarding my appointment from yesterday that was cancelled by you at the last minute. As of now, no one has returned my calls.

When I originally called to schedule the appointment to have the inside and outside windows of my home washed, I had requested an appointment for tomorrow since I had the day off from work. I was told that Fridays and Saturdays were reserved for [redacted] and [redacted].

I was offered a choice of Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. I selected Wednesday at 4:30, because that is when I get home from work. I was told that the window washers may get to my home earlier that 4:30 and would just start with the outside windows. Because I needed time to take down all of the screens and wash them prior to Wednesday, I spent Monday and Tuesday evening completing this task.

On Tuesday when I got home from work, there was a message on my answering machine saying the window washers would arrive between 5:00 and 6:30 PM on Wednesday. I thought that was very odd, since my appointment was scheduled for 4:30, and I had been told they would probably arrive earlier and would start with the outside windows first.

I got home yesterday at 4:30 and went outside to do yardwork. When it became 6:00, I was wondering when the window washers were going to arrive. I went into the house and found that you left a message saying you were not going to be able to keep the appointment because the job being worked on ran late and for me to call back to reschedule for next week. I tried calling twice within the next half hour. All I got was voice mail.

I tried calling again this morning around 9:00 AM and again got your voice mail. It is very upsetting that you do not have anyone answering your phones, no matter what time I call.

It is also extremely upsetting that apparently you overbooked Wednesday afternoon, since my appointment was scheduled for 4:30 and the day before you left a message you would be at my house between 5:00 and 6:30 PM. I spent considerable time taking down screens and washing them, prior to Wednesday, so everything would be in order when the window washers arrived.

I do not think I should have to wait until sometime next week to have my windows washed, since it is going to require me putting all of the screens back in and then removing them again for the “next” appointment. I scheduled the appointment to have my windows cleaned prior to Memorial Day, since I am having a picnic and wanted to make sure everything was clean.

I would appreciate a phone call from someone regarding the above as soon as possible, so this issue can be rectified.Desired Settlement: I ended up doing all of my windows myself which took considerable time, since I have (25) Windows and had to do both inside and out.

I want an apology from Wojcik Window Washing and a guarantee that if I contact them next year to do my windows (since the last time they did them, 4 years ago, they did an excellent job), they will provide me with the same pricing as 4 years ago and not cancel my appointment.
