The issue was K.SKooling could not find anything wrong with my air conditioning system which is why I had to pay someone else to repair the systemAttached are the two relevant communications I had with K.SKooling regarding the AC issuesI contacted several A/C companies and none of them wanted to repair another contractors poor workmanshipThey said it would void the warranty and they did not want the responsibility of repairing an A/C unit they did not installI had no choice but to peruse other options to repair the system because K.SKooling could not be trusted to find the issues or repair them.My phone has had voice mail setup since I opened the account in Others have left messages with no issuesMy choice to use emails is so I have a record of communicationThis way there is no argument of what was saidI can provide phone records to show K.SKooling never called me to remedy the situationI'm limited to the number of attachments I can provide in this online formatI can also provide the remaining emails showing I did communicate to [redacted] last response. The inch return line was never attached to the start collar as the start collar was inches in diameterSecondly the start collar was never sealed as you can see in the photos? The main trunk line (inch diameter) supplies air to rooms/areas of the house, dining room, living room, bedrooms, bathroom and denThe severe kink is the reason for the poor flow to those roomsI do not have any flow issues after the repair was performed.I'm not settling for half of the $it cost meSee attached pictures for some of the issues with the air conditioning duct work as a result of K.SKooling's poor workmanship11/19/(reference email attachment)Complained about dust and flow.1/24/(reference email attachment) Complained about dust

I would have come back to fix the problem? I did communicate with the home owner almost every time he tried to contact metimes I called his number but no answer and if I remember correctly he had no voice mail set upSo I responded by emailThe customer emailed me most of the time 1st? I
responded to the 1st complaints but dust was not part of the complaint? The complaints were poor air flow to the west end of the houseMy 1st trip out I did attempt to balance the flow but achieved minimal improvementAfter that trip the home owner gained access to the west portion of his attic and found the problems and had reductedIt did improve the flow but he still complained of poor air balanceThe 3rd time is when he emailed or we spoke on the phone about dust in the homeI'm guessing the poor connections my guy did came apart enough to start pulling in dust and attic air? He then must have called someone else and they did find poor workmanship on some flex duct connections? The home owner sent me pictures showing the ductworkBut he did not respond to my next email that I would come back to repair the ductworkAt that point he had already made a decision to have someone else do the repairsI understand his frustration and lack of trust but I did not avoid the problemAfter the repairs were done he wanted reimbursementI did not respond immediately but I did contact the ROC and explained the situation to find what their stance would beI tried to explain to the home owner that the ROC would have given me the opportunity to correct the problemSo now we are left with a bill that the homeowner wants paidNo real invoice has been presented other than a few receipts for minimal materialI've been shown a cancelled check written to handyman for $Not a licensed contractor? I had offered to pay half of his stated amount but his response was to have me pay $with conditionsI would still agree to 1/$but no conditions.

The issue was K.S. Kooling could not find anything wrong with my air conditioning system which is why I had to pay someone else to repair the system. Attached are the two relevant communications I had with K.S. Kooling regarding the AC issues. I contacted several A/C companies and none of them wanted to repair another contractors poor workmanship. They said it would void the warranty and they did not want the responsibility of repairing an A/C unit they did not install. I had no choice but to peruse other options to repair the system because K.S. Kooling could not be trusted to find the issues or repair them.My phone has had voice mail setup since I opened the account in 1999. Others have left messages with no issues. My choice to use emails is so I have a record of communication. This way there is no argument of what was said. I can provide phone records to show K.S. Kooling never called me to remedy the situation. I'm limited to the number of attachments I can provide in this online format. I can also provide the remaining emails showing I did communicate to [redacted] last response. The 20 inch return line was never attached to the start collar as the start collar was 21 inches in diameter. Secondly the start collar was never sealed as you can see in the photos.  The main trunk line (16 inch diameter) supplies air to 5 rooms/areas of the house, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and den. The severe kink is the reason for the poor flow to those rooms. I do not have any flow issues after the repair was performed.I'm not settling for half of the $872.00 it cost me. See attached pictures for some of the issues with the air conditioning duct work as a result of K.S. Kooling's poor workmanship. 11/19/16 (reference email attachment). Complained about dust and flow.1/24/17 (reference email attachment) Complained about dust.

But he did not respond to my next email that I would come back to repair the ductwork. At that point he had already made a decision to have someone else do the repairs. I understand his frustration and lack of trust but I did not avoid the problem. After the repairs were done he wanted reimbursement. I did not respond immediately but I did contact the ROC and explained the situation to find what their stance would be. I tried to explain to the home owner that the ROC would have given me the opportunity to correct the problem. So now we are left with a bill that the homeowner wants paid. No real invoice has been presented other than a few receipts for minimal material. I've been shown a cancelled check written to handyman for $500. Not a licensed contractor? I had offered to pay half of his stated amount but his response was to have me pay $500 with conditions. I would still agree to 1/2 $400 but no conditions.
