Review: We had a tractor trailer get stuck at the [redacted] Distribution Center in [redacted]. They were nice enough to give us the phone number to Sac to help get him unstuck. The driver had turned to sharp and his trailer was on his passenger drive tires and couldn't move, the one set of drive tires were in a small amount of mud. We had the driver send us pictures and sent Sac towing out. When we got the bill, it was surprising to find they wanted $2,700 dollars for pulling the trailer out and winching him away from the small amount of mud (he was mostly on concrete). They were "kind" enough, or his boss was in a good enough mood he said that he took off one hour of call out charge because it didn't take much to get him out and they were not there long. That's when I found out they charge $900/hr and a 3hr minimum. When I called other companies in the area, they were amazed at the price Sac is charging and we could have saved over $1,000. I'm not sure how companies get away with charging these rates. [redacted] gave us the number, so are they getting a kick back for this reference, or is a specific employee? Our driver mentioned that someone at [redacted] asked how much they charged?? Something's not quite right here and should be looked in to.Desired Settlement: We would certainly like a refund of at least $1,000. For a mid-sized tractor/trailer freight company we have never paid this kind of outrageous prices and we have had many tows, winches, and recoveries. It didn't cost us this much to get towed off of the [redacted] Turnpike, and you have to use their private services, then to get towed from the outside of the turnpike to a repair facility. I have pictures of how small of a job this was to get the driver out.
