rates available for their loan circumstancesThe available interest rates from various mortgage companies are displayed after a customer inputs their specific loan information including loan amount, property value, loan term, property type, and loan purpose.On June 6, 2017, American Interbanc Mortgage discovered that one of our third party vendors experienced a technical error when interpreting our rate offering in their system; which resulted in the posting of unauthorized interest rate optionsUpon discovery, we immediately notified our vendor of the error and asked that they remove our rate advertisementIt took the vendor almost an hour to remove the pricing, and unfortunately, that interest rate option remained visible to consumersWe did not resume advertising with them until June 9, when the technical error was resolved and our offered interest rates were posting accurately.Upon speaking with the customer, our loan originator attempted to explain that the interest rate shown was in error and provided the actual rate options we had availableThis was in no way an attempt to deceive the customerWe apologize for any confusion this has caused.Sincerely Yours,*** ***VP of Risk Mitigation
