We received your notice of June 8, regarding a customer of our restaurant. On the occasion outlined in the letter, we did accidentally overcharge by $for an extra order of steamed rice which they didn't receivewe refunded this amount on that occassion, to our customer.We do not do any
rounding of customer's bills at our restaurant, we strive to be accurate every time and regret this mistake

I am rejecting this response because: It is hard to believe that this wasn't just rounding up because the bill was exactly dollars and I think that the difference we figured was greater than The manager of the restaurant did call me and ask me to email Revdex.com and you know that the issue has been resolved (he did not ever actually apologize for this happening)His exact words were "You filed a complaint, I need you to email the Revdex.com and let them know that I called you and resolved it." On the day of the incident the restaurant said that they would place a refund on our cardThe refund had not yet appeared and I let the manager of the restaurant know that I would email you that it had been resolved after the refund appearedThe refund has still not appeared and sufficient time as passedIt appears that I was told there would be a refund on my card (twice on the day of the incident and when I talked with the manager), but nothing was actually done by the restaurant to give me that refundI am fairly sure that I won't get a refundI also won't eat here again and advise my friends against eating there has wellThis would have been easy to resolve with a simple apology and then honestly providing the promised refundAt least this as taught me not to look over my bill instead of just paying them! You assume that your bills will be accurate, but that is not the case!

Business states that they have contacted the credit card processing company, who confirmed that the consumer refund was indeed  processed. If the consumer still has any pending issues receiving the refund they need to contact their bank or credit card company to dispute the matter.

Review: The total of the items that we ordered was 42.20-43.20 (dine in drinks are 2 or 2.50 depending on who you talk to and we had 2). This restaurant decided to round up to 45.00. They do not provide an itemized or legible bill and I can imagine that they do this to many customers. I would not have done the math if it hadn't been an even 45.00. It is not a lot of money, but it is the principle of the matter. It is not OK to round the bill up. People should be billed the amount that they owe not a little bit higher amount that the restaurant randomly decides to charge.Desired Settlement: I think that it is important that Revdex.com knows and possibly warns them that this is an unethical practice and should be stopped.

I am sorry, last time I checked I didn't see it online but now it is there. Wonderful Chinese also sent me a check for $2.50 which I received and cashed this morning. The difference that I was over credited is $1.20. I will get this in the mail and back to them asap. I am sorry that I couldn't find the credit on my bill sooner. I also apologize for filing this complaint. I was very frustrated that my bill was rounded up and felt that company was being dishonest saying that they would refund. It looks like it was a legitimate mistake and that they did try to refund quickly after all. Thank you,Audra Levis
