Baileys tree service was recently referred to me by a friend to have a tree removedI am very pleased with the service and professionalism I receivedThe price was reasonable and they completed the job in a timely mannerThe tree was in a very difficult spot but they did not blink an eye
Major rip off, I'M sorry to say but I must let everyone know how this is so wrong.
My dad's (he's 95) A/C system stopped working on the weekend, I waited until Monday 3/28/2016 to call and was informed that I would be charged $49 for the call. That was fine, but after the service man arrived he found the problem within the first 10 minutes. A wire going to the capacitor was burnt off. He checked the capacitor and found it failing, said that if he changed it, the compressor could be bad.
I asked if he could check it first, and he needed to charge me $200 some dollars diagnostic charge to put a meter on the compressor. I said just change the cap and a new end on the burnt wire. He said he needed to put a terminal kit on it. I said ok
Well the capacitor (that can be bought on line for $20. Online I was charged $203.70 and the Terminal [redacted] that turned out to be just cutting off a wire with a push clip on the end, this can be bought for less than $5. I was charged $189.86, Plus $49 for a service call
For parts costing $25. I was charged a total of 442.56
I could see $100 for parts, but not $393.56
(They just lost two new install jobs because of this outrageous repair cost)
