The first appointment that was scheduled to set up the swing set was missed.  When we called that day, they said that our paperwork got put in the file for the next day by accident.  We were ok with this and they did come and set up the swing set the next day.  While my children may have had the set for the summer, one of the biggest selling points for us was that monkey bars were able to be added to it.  It has been an entire summer without a COMPLETE swing set.  While it is correct that we never mentioned the broken telescope, we did mention a broken latch and door knob(which broke the day after the swing set was installed) that Wood Kingdom told us they would replace when they installed the monkey bars.  A summer with a broken door latch AND incomplete swing set.Regarding the shed:  Wood Kingdom contacted us the first time and we were on vacation in North Carolina.  We arrived home late in the evening Sunday, August [redacted] and heard the message.  I called the very next morning on the [redacted] and set up an appointment for the shed to be installed on September [redacted].  When September [redacted] arrived at approximately 12 noon I called Wood Kingdom to see when they would be there to set up the shed.  I was told they would have to call back.  I got a call back 3 hours later, as if we never had an appointment, the person I spoke to said they had the week of September [redacted] available.  Once again, I let it go and set up installation for Thursday, September [redacted].  A side note here, I mentioned that I had still not received the monkey bars for the swing set, but the person I was speaking with said he was just the shed guy and he would see what he could do in communicating that to the swing set person.  September [redacted] came and around 12 noon I called to see when they would be there to install the shed.  They said that I had no appointment and I needed to set one up.  At this point I explained to them that I no longer wanted the shed and that a full refund would be accepted.  I was told that they could not refund the money because the shed is a special order.  When they realized how upset I was, they offered to deliver a constructed shed exactly like the one I ordered, but my fence would have to come down.  Part of the original arrangement was that I would not have to take down any portion of my fence and it would be assembled in my yard.  The question bodes; if my shed was special order, why is it already constructed if that was not what I was originally told?   
We are seeking a full refund in the price of the shed and, if possible, they can come and pick up the half assembled broken swing set and give us a full refund on that as well.

[redacted] has received a credit.  It took two days from the time she cancelled for us to have the return processed.  We apologize for any problem the delay may have caused.

This gentleman has received his shed along with free merchandise and a credit.  We are sorry that he experienced problems with us, but we have fulfilled our obligation to him.

A few weeks back when I try to cancel the order I was told that the shed was there, they just had a backlog on installation. [redacted] then told me it was taking a long time becuase it was last years model, and it would arrive this weekend. I ORDERED IT LAST YEAR, and the other manager (i think his name is [redacted]) told me it was already there.
At that point I decided I was no longer dealing with this company.

Wood Kingdom has either canceled or was a  no-show without notice or explaination for far too long. I will be satisfied ONLY when the footings are properly installed as per the blue prints and accepted by the town inspector. The footings were to be installed per the blue prints from the beginning and were part of the install and not needed to show on the invoice. At this time I am NOT satisfied.]

We still have a faulty swing set with missing parts. The company has promised to call yesterday to arrange for a visit today and still has not done so. They have promised - yet again - to resolve the issue this week but we have no expectation that this will be the case. While it is true that Wood Kingdom has sent people to our house on 3 occasions (again without any notice of arrival time or needs from our family - I work from home and they have interrupted work calls upon which I base my living), it does nothing to help the situation.  All the “servicemen” do is look at the set and say they will fix it at a later date.  It is hard for us to believe that the parts ordered were wrong this many times since February.  We have been bringing the problems to their attention for many months now and absolutely nothing has been done to fix it.  While the set is “operational” as there is a slide and a structure in place in our yard, we still do not feel safe on it.  A car without seat belts and doors is technically “operational” as it will move, but you certainly wouldn't allow your child to ride in it.  This has been their attitude from the outset.   Their solution to many of our concerns has been to just do without the broken or missing pieces, and they have even recommended that we cut away pieces of the swing set that are broken since they consider them not structurally critical (although there is nothing in the manufacturer's literature or in any documentation that this would be recommended and we feel it is unsafe as it is on the raised part of the structure and we want the set as purchased).  They also seem to suggest that the only issue is one cracked piece of wood;  that is severely understating the multitude of issues.   In addition to the cracked wood we pointed out 2 months ago, there is a missing sandbox cover, multiple chipped pieces of wood (the girls have played on the set a total of 3 times and we have to tell other kids who visit not to play on the set as it is dangerous), and swings that need to be replaced.  From the outset, the set was 3 weeks late in being set up (we were told the delay was due to weather, but found out later from another person at the store that the set  was not even in) and this has been a terrible experience for me and my family. We specifically ordered the set in time for the spring and it is now well into June with no resolution. I normally do not complain but I have no other avenue at this point as this business has failed to resolve the issue in any way.

This customer did not leave a check deposit, she paid her deposit on a credit card and we have credited her account. We can only refund credit card deposits by credit card credits. We are sorry if this has caused a difficulty for the customer.

Review: Swing set was supposed to be delivered in 2-3 weeks, on the date of delivery no one showed up. The swing set was then reschedule and delivered the next day, however it was incomplete. Phone calls were made several times and each time someone told me I would receive a call back. Each time, I would not receive a return phone call and have to call back. When someone was reached I was told it would be 7 to 10 days for the monkey bars to be delivered. Two months have past and we still have no monkey bars. Also, the door [redacted] and telescope broke the first day they were installed and the wood began splintering immediately.

Our shed was schedule to be delivered two times and both times no-one ever showed up. Customer service is non-existent. Wood kingdom was unable to offer a reasonable explanation for either case and was unable to deliver a remedy.Desired Settlement: We would like to be fully refunded. The portion of the swing set that is here can be disassembled and taken back to the store.

We are sorry that [redacted] is unhappy with us. Her swing set was installed and used all summer long. We will refund her the entire amount for the monkey bars and still provide them to her when they arrive. We will replace the scope for her as soon as possible we were not made aware of the fact that it was broken or that how it happened, but we are pleased to refund her for that as well and give her a replacement.

As for the shed we have been in constant contact with [redacted] and [redacted] about their shed. We had no, no, scheduled delivery dates with them. We had attempted to schedule with them and unfortunately they were away and we did not connect with them about a solid date. We are able to install their purchase on next Tuesday. [redacted] agreed to that, but apparently that has changed. This is a custom built product and it is available for installation, we can not accept a cancellation on this item.

We are willing to make adjustments to make the customer happy. We can not cancel this order. Our policy is clear and we are willing to come to an amicable agreement with the [redacted]'s regarding a fair compensation amount.

[redacted] does not have half a set. She is missing an optional add on to her complete set that was given to her at no charge. As for the set being broken, we are happy to repair anything that is wrong on her set. However we do not accept returns on assembled products. We are fully aware of the shed problem and know that the [redacted]'s do not want it, even though we have had it in stock for a number of weeks. We have no problem refunding the money for that item.

Review: March [redacted] 2013 ordered 12x20 shed. Put down a $2,700.00 deposit. Told 6 to 8 weeks. Took down old shed to prep area. All my stuff under a tarp in the backyard. Still no shed and this is week 17. Keep getting run around and asked for deposit back to no avail. Review: On July [redacted] 2014 I purchased an 8x12 shed/barn from Wood Kingdom. The purchase price was $ 2,465.78. An installation date of mid September 2014 was promised. My first contact with Wood Kingdom was on September [redacted] 2014 asking for an installation date. I was told it would be another two or three weeks as they stated back log and the availability of only being able to get a few shed in from PA at a time. My next contact was the first week of October as I had not received any notification from Wood Kingdom. The point of contact will now be the [redacted]. Upon reaching [redacted]. he stated the shed would be delivered next week and an install date the following week. putting us in late October. On October [redacted] I attempted to contact [redacted] who was out of the office until 2pm and a message would be left for him to call back. No call was returned . The following day I called again and [redacted] was out installing a playset and would call me after 2pm. Again no return call. On October [redacted] I called and was able to reach [redacted] who apologized and stated they were backed up and the shed would be in the first week of November with an install date of the following week. I called the following Monday, November [redacted] to get an installation date. I was told the wrong size shed was delivered and was promised the shed on November [redacted]. Again, no calls or shed delivered. I called and left a message for [redacted] to call me back. I received a call from [redacted] at approximately 6pm . He stated and I quote " wow, we really screwed you on this shed ". He offered me a $100.00 reduction on the price and a free loft if I could wait until Sunday , November [redacted]. On Saturday November [redacted] called me and said they would not be able to install the shed as one of his workers was injured by a nail gun and did not know when he would return to work. [redacted] offered me a 10% discount off the price and a free loft. I asked him how many crews does he have working for him. He stated one and he would try to get a summer helper to fill in and call me in an hour. No call back. I called Wood Kingdom and spoke with a women who said [redacted] was gone for the day. I asked her if they were still installing sheds and she stated yes but they were really backed up. Wood Kingdom is now over 90 days past due on our contracted install date. This is not an isolated complaint against Wood Kingdom referencing the same complaints with the Revdex.com and Consumer Affairs. Wood Kingdom seems to profit from interest free loans from customers by pushing off their customers with lies and deception.Desired Settlement: My preference would be for Wood Kingdom to honor our contract with sanctions of an interest free loan for over five months returned to me. Also, the Suffolk County District Attorneys Office should be made aware of Wood Kingdoms business practices. As stated in my complaint, this is not an isolated incident referencing the same complaints reported to the Revdex.com.

Review: We ordered a shed on April **, 2013. We gave a credit card deposit of $1,850.00. We were told it would be delivered in 6 to 8 weeks. It is now Sept. [redacted] and no shed. [redacted] from Wood Kingdom repeatedly tells us it will be in this week and sets installation dates that are no kept because the shed does not come in. It is very difficult to get an honest answer as to what the problem is. He doesn't even call on the installation date to tell us they don't have our shed. We have been given a total run around. Also, the brochure they had us choose from isn't even the manufacturer they are doing business with. I called Sunrise in [redacted]. and was told they haven't done business with Wood Kingdom since last January. We are fed up. We would like our shed asap, or our down payment back asap. We are really in a jam for storage and need to re-order from a reliable company.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund or immediate shed and installation.

Review: On March [redacted] 2014 I purchased a playset from Wood Kingdom East, invoice number [redacted] called Hurricane Hideout. PAID IN FULL at the time of purchase. The purchase included a wood roof, extra panels for the hideout, a glider, periscope and slide. On April [redacted] delivery was made with the setup minus the wood roof, periscope, glider and extra panels. I immediately called the company and asked when the rest would be delivered I was told in about 2 weeks, so we made an appointment for rest to be delivered, nobody showed and we received no phone call. The reason given for not showing up, it snowed earlier in the week and delivery was not made to Wood Kingdom. We made another appt for one week later, again, no show, made another appointment, no show again. 2 or 3 attempts with a no show went by until one day they delivered the periscope and glider. Now for the past 6 or 7 weeks we have been asking for the roof and each week I am told we have your roof and we will make delivery on a day picked between myself and the business. This past Tuesday was latest, they called me and said they wanted to deliver the roof, I left work early, nobody showed and nobody would pick up the phone so I left a message. Again I was told they would deliver it today, again, they cancelled but AGAIN but we had to call them to find out if they were coming. They told us on the phone that the roof was sold to another buyer. Of course I was livid with the person on the phone telling them if I sold you a car, took your money and never delivered car what would you think, all I got in return was "I know how you feel, and we are sorry"Desired Settlement: I am ready to take legal action since I dont believe they want deliver at all but I turned here first since I have had good success with this organization. I just want to have them finish the setup as ordered, move the playset to where we had asked them to plus a refund of 10%.

Review: Purchased a wood/vinyl shed 8/*/13. Deposit of $1200 on 8/*/13. After repeated phone calls beginning in Sept, and hearing excuses and promises the shed was to be delivered on 11/*/13. Was told the "Truck was out making the deliveries." No delivery. Was told on 11/*/13 there is no record of our purchase in the warehouse. Recently learned Wood Kingdom filed for chapter 7 involuntary bankruptcy on 3/**/12. We think we have been scammed! Also learned that Revdex.com gave Wood Kingdom an F rating!Desired Settlement: Return of $1200 deposit

This claim is untrue. [redacted] is ill informed and has no understanding of circumstance or of the law. We are not in bankruptcy, nor have we ever been. We are not scamming anyone. We are behind on our deliveries, but we are delivering everyday. We are working hard to fulfill all our orders as fast as possible. The quality of our product is excellent. No complaint filed against us has ever been about our quality or workmanship.

Review: The abbreviated version is that I ordered a shed at the end of May and was told it was a two month lead time when I placed the order and a $2,500 deposit. I inquired in August and was informed by Jeanne that they were running behind and I should expexct it in September however September came and went. I started dealing with [redacted] in late September and promised it be delivered the week of the [redacted] of October by of course that came and went.. I escalated this up to [redacted] who said the shed was built but is having issues with getting trucks to deliver the product but offered me a $300 discount for my inconvience and promised me by end of October I would have it. In Novmeber I demanded they refund my credit card and after three weeks of getting told the bookeeper is out or [redacted] doesnt have the authority to give a refund only [redacted] does (and of course [redacted] is unreachable). I even have [redacted]'s cell phone and I have left numerous voice mails which he doesnt return.Desired Settlement: AT this point I would like my credit card credited back for my intial deposit.

We will clarify the discussion of rather a dispute or a credit is the appropriate action. We are sorry for the continued misunderstanding regarding [redacted]'s refund. We will call him today to once and for all make sure that the refund he is entitled to is taken care of. We are ashamed that we have an F rating. This is primarily the result of supply chain problems that have caused problems with supplying product in a timely fashion to our customers. We have made improvements and believe that we should have it resolved before the next season arrives. Again, we are sorry for the problems that our customers have experienced.

Review: On June **, 2013, I ordered a shed that was expected to be delivered by the end of August. When I called in August about the shed I was told there were issues withthe delivery of the produc tfrom the manufacturer and it would take another 4 weeks. . I called in October to find about delivery again and was told Mid November due to the issues still occurring. In november on the ** I went to the locatin to be told delivery would be dec [redacted]. This did not occur. I had to call them and was told that we could schedule this for another day. I chose dec [redacted]. I recieved a call that week due to rain they were back logged and could not get to me. I rescheduled for dec [redacted]. Once again due to rain conditions this had to be postponed. I rescheduled for dec [redacted]. They left me a message on the rescheduling, I called back and indicated this date of the [redacted]. I was told I would be contacted sunday. dec [redacted]. I recieved no call. I called on dec [redacted] to find out the status and it was indicated that they did not note my install.

I have called this location multiple times on several of their phone numbers and getting a hold of them is very difficult . The phones ring and ring.Desired Settlement: I would like this shed delivered and installed by jan * or I want my money back.

We are prepared to deliver [redacted]'s purchase as soon as the weather clears. We have been in contact with him regarding the weather related problems with installations. We will install his shed as soon as the weather breaks.

Review: We purchased a swing set from their location in February and have had significant issues with this company.

First, delivery was guaranteed on a specific date and the delivery was delayed twice since they misrepresented having the swing set in stock. The sales person who contacted us lied about the need for rescheduling (he said it was due to possible inclement weather) and the [redacted] later informed us twice that the set was actually not in stock so they could not install it.

Second, when it was delivered, the swing set was incomplete in terms of what we purchased. We specifically ordered a sandbox cover and the lack of a cover posed a significant safety risk to our children who would trip over the open hole in the structure. Additionally, one piece was cracked in a very dangerous way and posed a significant safety risk to our children as it was a portion that the children were to duck under and could have been injured by wood shards close to their heads. Additionally, within 1 week of installation, the paint was peeling and pieces of the wood were literally cracking off the structure - and the company told me that is "just the nature" of this wood and that there is nothing they can do and were unable to tell me if the pain posed a poisoning risk to our children. Additionally, several pieces were not level or installed in a manner that resulted in having dangerous wood shavings hanging off the wood which we feel is unsafe as this is a structure designed for use by children.

We have called and emailed the company multiple times on a weekly basis, have been told by the service men that have visited our house without notice that we should keep complaining or nothing will be resolved, and have not received any resolution and hardly ever receive a prompt response. Several visits have been made by their staff who say that they cannot really help with the issues but will report back to management, and management has only made empty promises that things will be resolved each week without any action taken. The structure is not safe and we would either like it replaced, repaired, or simply removed and we will purchase a set elsewhere. This has been going on for almost 5 months and we would like this issue finally resolved.Desired Settlement: The structure is not safe and we would either like it replaced, repaired, or simply removed and we will purchase a set elsewhere. We have sent serviceman to the home on several occasions. We ordered replacement parts and they came in incorrect and we reordered them. The set is fully operational, though we understand the customers concern about the cracked piece of wood, and will repair it as soon as possible.

We still have a faulty swing set with missing parts. The company has promised to call yesterday to arrange for a visit today and still has not done so. They have promised - yet again - to resolve the issue this week but we have no expectation that this will be the case. While it is true that Wood Kingdom has sent people to our house on 3 occasions (again without any notice of arrival time or needs from our family - I work from home and they have interrupted work calls upon which I base my living), it does nothing to help the situation. All the “servicemen” do is look at the set and say they will fix it at a later date. It is hard for us to believe that the parts ordered were wrong this many times since February. We have been bringing the problems to their attention for many months now and absolutely nothing has been done to fix it. While the set is “operational” as there is a slide and a structure in place in our yard, we still do not feel safe on it. A car without seat belts and doors is technically “operational” as it will move, but you certainly wouldn't allow your child to ride in it. This has been their attitude from the outset. Their solution to many of our concerns has been to just do without the broken or missing pieces, and they have even recommended that we cut away pieces of the swing set that are broken since they consider them not structurally critical (although there is nothing in the manufacturer's literature or in any documentation that this would be recommended and we feel it is unsafe as it is on the raised part of the structure and we want the set as purchased). They also seem to suggest that the only issue is one cracked piece of wood; that is severely understating the multitude of issues. In addition to the cracked wood we pointed out 2 months ago, there is a missing sandbox cover, multiple chipped pieces of wood (the girls have played on the set a total of 3 times and we have to tell other kids who visit not to play on the set as it is dangerous), and swings that need to be replaced. From the outset, the set was 3 weeks late in being set up (we were told the delay was due to weather, but found out later from another person at the store that the set was not even in) and this has been a terrible experience for me and my family. We specifically ordered the set in time for the spring and it is now well into June with no resolution. I normally do not complain but I have no other avenue at this point as this business has failed to resolve the issue in any way.

The response by the company is a blatant lie. The issue is not resolved as they have not completed repairs or brought the items we purchased in February. After several emails and phone calls from us to the company, they brought 2 mismatched swings on 2 separate occasions but have still not replaced ANY of the defective pieces of the swing set, have not brought the missing sandbox cover, and have not come to replace one of the swings they brought so that they match. We have been waiting for them to return our calls to find out about the repairs and they still have not taken any action to address the safety hazards posed by their product and have yet to fulfill our order (despite taking payment in full months ago). It is now July and my children still do not have a safe play set, despite our purchasing it in February and repeatedly requesting repairs by the company.
