On January 13, 2011 I settled this account with [redacted] Law PC. They never notified the Creditor they were collecting this debt for that it was paid!
I requested at the time of settlement that I be sent a letter stating this was settled and never received one. I also asked them to notify Direct TV, the orginal creditor, that this bill was settled and to also notify all three credit bureaus that this was settled. I have since learned that they never contacted Direct TV to let them know that this was paid, now I'm being told that I have to pay this amount becasue it was never paid! [redacted] Law PC needs to correct this information with Direct TV and send me a copy of the as agreed when I settled this account.
