I am rejecting this response because:I talked with Debi (manager) this week Thursday. She was unable to finish our phone conversation because her store was busy and she was the only one working. She asked if she could call me back the next day - I asked her to please return my call later that evening because I was unable to talk the next day - she was also going to be working until 8:p.mthat night. I gave her two phone numbers to reach me at. She has yet to return my call and it is now Saturday. This business has admitted the boots are ruined. They were extensively damaged during their cleaning process resulting in them being unwearable. I expect them to take responsibility for the damages to my daughter's boots. Their employee did not communicate to the leather cleaner the boots had wax on them and I specifically brought them in for wax removal/repair. the employee did not inform me of the potential damage that could happen to the boots and did not have me sign a waiver of liability The leather specialist clearly did not know there was wax on the boots. At that point, the process should have STOPPED. I should have been called to ask what was on the boots and asked if I still wanted to proceed. Whatever the leather specialist did to the boots (and likely not UGG approved), caused EXTENSIVE damage to both boots and that point is not even arguable. ANYONE that sees the boots knows that they are very damaged and that they look awful!!! That is true and factual The boots DID NOT come in to their store looking that way and they act like I brought them in dipped in wax I expect PROFESSIONALS to act professionally and in the best interest of the customer and that has not happened by any means. In addition, this store has lacked any efforts at service recovery and customer service - their previous store manager even hung up on me! The store manager admitted the boots were ruined and they blame that on me, the customer, instead of looking at their own processes within the store. This whole experience I have had with Woodbury Cleaners is unacceptableThe store needs to take responsibility for the mistakes made by their employees by paying for boot replacement

Per phone call 4/18/2016 with Debi (manager) she has tried to contact the consumer by phone and has not yet received a response. Debi said that she has issued a cash credit for what was paid to clean the boots. Also said that the damage to the boots was already done when the boots were brought in to...

be cleaned that it was not done while in for cleaning.

Review: On 12/**/14 I dropped off a pair of pants to be hemmed. I specified "original hem" with original pant bottoms to be re-attached. I specified this exactly 3 times to [redacted], the proprietor of the store, making sure he understood what exactly what I was asking. He verbally agreed and gave me a ticket specifying "1 Pants / 1 Hem" after I paid $10 for the service. When I came to pick up the pants on 1/*/15, the workmanship was poor and did not include the original hem. On the phone on 1/*/15 [redacted] told me to bring the pants back in and his wife, [redacted], would fix the problem. I dropped the pants off on 1/*/15 to be fixed with original hem, per specifications. On 1/**/18 I came to pick up the pants and the hem was not fixed, this time it looked worse with poor stitching/workmanship. I asked for them to replace the pants - they refused. I asked them at the very least for a refund of the $10 hem - they refused. I gave them ample opportunity to fix the problem, they made it worse and still refused a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a replacement of the exact make/model/size of pants that they ruined or cash equivalent. Additionally I would like a $10 refund for the services not performed to specification.
