This complaint is primarily directed at ARVEST BANK's Online Banking Service I have been using Online Banking since appx with different banks NEVER have I had such a bad experience as I have with ARVEST Initially, their service was acceptable Then they "upgraded", and I have had at least Overdrafts since The Upgrade appears to have been designed to purposefully be confusing, misleading, and assist ARVEST in collecting fees that their old system failed to do (NSF fees) Further, they've had a few months to fix the problem with NO ACTION taken to alleviate the problem I'm absolutely positive an System Developer, or perhaps and Accountant will respond with the old banker assured response of "But it's all your fault" I say hogwashyour average run of the mill Joe is NOT a developer, or accountant ARVEST's system is designed to be a ripoff, no more no less I'm closing my accounts and moving to a reputable bank ARVEST is a JOKE, steer clear

On March 2, 2016, I made my loan payment on my Home Equity Line Of Credit that was due on March 9, Towards the end of March I received a call from their collection department that my loan was past due I took the receipt in and they determined that "someone" had entered the account number wrong and they credited my payment correctly I understand that no one is perfect and that sometimes mistakes happen On June 2, 2016, I once again made my payment to the same account that was due on June 9, On June 27, 2016, I once again received a call from their collection department that the loan payment was overdue Once again, I had to take the receipt from my payment in to show them that I had made the payment I am still waiting for them to correct my account I believe that the same thing happening twice in months is unacceptable and would warn any customers with this bank to save ALL receipts until they are sure the payment has been credited correctly

I disputed a payment that came out of my bank accountThey assured me they would investigate the company who did not perform services and if/when that company would fail to comply in returning my payment, Arvest would provide the credit to my accountIt's been over days and nothing has been credited to my account and when I call to try and find out status of the dispute investigation, Arvest tells me to call back in 15-daysI'm glad I'm not hurting for $$, I'm going to be changing my accountsOther banks get their dispute investigations completed in 30-days at mostVery ridiculous that Arvest is taking this much time when I really needed the money put back in my account and I filed the dispute BEFORE the money physically left my account Truthfully I have had no negative dealings with Arvest until this, but I never had money stolen or a charge to my account that was disputed until now....so now that I need them to protect me, I don't few taken care ofAnd I personally wouldn't feel this negatively if they would just reach out to me ever 'thirty days' or so and let me know what's going on

I signed paperwork to dispute a Charge I did not makeThey took off the two charges, however, they charged me an NSF for themI have had deposits not show up in cash or a check written to me from other customer at the bank I use and get over drafted because of thisIt's like their trying to screw their customersI have always been a responsible person and it's hard when you have your own bank trying to screw you as much as possible

Arvest advertises that they provide free notary service with accounts. This is absolutely untrue. I have had an account there for 20 years and anytime I have requested notary service they have refused. In recent times they have suggested I go to the local library for notary services. The notary at the bank told me Arvest has a policy that notarizing a document would result in immediate termination. So if this is the case where do they get off advertising notary service with accounts? This is false advertising. I will find a better bank. The service at the East Robinson branch in Springdale is the worst of the worst.

I disputed a payment that came out of my bank account. They assured me they would investigate the company who did not perform services and if/when that company would fail to comply in returning my payment, Arvest would provide the credit to my account. It's been over 90 days and nothing has been credited to my account and when I call to try and find out status of the dispute investigation, Arvest tells me to call back in 15-30 days. I'm glad I'm not hurting for $$, I'm going to be changing my accounts. Other banks get their dispute investigations completed in 30-60 days at most. Very ridiculous that Arvest is taking this much time when I really needed the money put back in my account and I filed the dispute BEFORE the money physically left my account.

Truthfully I have had no negative dealings with Arvest until this, but I never had money stolen or a charge to my account that was disputed until now....so now that I need them to protect me, I don't few taken care of. And I personally wouldn't feel this negatively if they would just reach out to me ever 'thirty days' or so and let me know what's going on.

This complaint is primarily directed at ARVEST BANK's Online Banking Service. I have been using Online Banking since appx 1998 with 5 different banks. NEVER have I had such a bad experience as I have with ARVEST. Initially, their service was acceptable. Then they "upgraded", and I have had at least 6 Overdrafts since. The Upgrade appears to have been designed to purposefully be confusing, misleading, and assist ARVEST in collecting fees that their old system failed to do (NSF fees). Further, they've had a few months to fix the problem with NO ACTION taken to alleviate the problem. I'm absolutely positive an System Developer, or perhaps and Accountant will respond with the old banker assured response of "But it's all your fault". I say hogwash... your average run of the mill Joe is NOT a developer, or accountant. ARVEST's system is designed to be a ripoff, no more no less. I'm closing my accounts and moving to a reputable bank. ARVEST is a JOKE, steer clear.

On March 2, 2016, I made my loan payment on my Home Equity Line Of Credit that was due on March 9, 2016. Towards the end of March I received a call from their collection department that my loan was past due. I took the receipt in and they determined that "someone" had entered the account number wrong and they credited my payment correctly.

I understand that no one is perfect and that sometimes mistakes happen.

On June 2, 2016, I once again made my payment to the same account that was due on June 9, 2016. On June 27, 2016, I once again received a call from their collection department that the loan payment was overdue. Once again, I had to take the receipt from my payment in to show them that I had made the payment. I am still waiting for them to correct my account.

I believe that the same thing happening twice in 3 months is unacceptable and would warn any customers with this bank to save ALL receipts until they are sure the payment has been credited correctly.
