Review: After recent storm, company stopped by our home offering to clear debris, cut limbs /trees and clean yard. After taking several trees down, wood was cut and piled up with promise of future pick up the next week. Also, stump removal was promised along with the pick up. It's been three weeks, two follow up calls and a promise of service, but to no avail. Of course we paid in full.

Woodlands is irresponsible and not trustworthy. Beware.Desired Settlement: We have personally disposed of the wood, but want the stump removed.

Review: On February 9, 2016 Mo Stopped by our house and offered to cut down the largest tree in our yard for $3000. I told him there was another smaller tree I was concerned about, and he said he would include that for free. I said I was not ready, but please give me a card. He did. In March I called Mo and asked for references. He gave them to me. Only one phone number worked. He also texted me a photo of a typed reference. Based on the typed reference and the reference I spoke to on the phone I asked Mo to come back and give me a written estimate. He came on Sunday March 20, 2016. He said he underestimated the work, and asked for $3500 to include the two trees, the stump grinding and hauling away all wood. He promised they would be there Monday morning March 21, and that they would be finished by Wednesday afternoon March 23, barring weather. On Monday I called him and texted him to ask what time they would arrive, but no answer. He finally called back at 9 am and told me he would be there in an hour. Ray and some workers showed up around 9:40 am. He told me Mo had only told them about one tree. Around 10:15 Ray came back to the door (no Mo) and said the climber would not do the work. He said they would be back tomorrow (Tuesday) with another climber and that Mo would call me. I called Mo right away and despite repeated texts he did not call me until 10:37 am. He said they would be there Tuesday, and he would call me Monday afternoon to let me know the time so I would not spend another 2 hours at home wasted (like Monday morning) waiting for them. He never called. I texted him Monday night, and after a few tries, he said they were not coming Tuesday - that they would come Saturday. I texted him that Saturday would not work for us and to have him call or text me back to confirm. Despite many texts, and a call to headquarters I have never received a response.Desired Settlement: Mo should call me back and agree on a time to do the job for the price he quoted in writing. He should give us a $200 discount for all of the time I have wasted.

Review: Woodlands Tree & Landscape Service cut down three trees on 29 August 2014 and promised to return later to grind up the stumps. They have not returned. I have called them 4 times and left messages on their answering service to determine when they would return to complete the agreement; they have not responded.Desired Settlement: Honor the commitment.

Review: I hired Woodlands several weeks ago to do 3 tasks. They completed 2 of the 3 and left without doing the hardest one. I've left at least 8 voicemail messages on both the main voicemail and the owner's cell phone and they haven't responded once.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to honor their estimate and agreement and complete the work. If that's not going to happen, I want a refund.
