Review: On March 13, 2014 I filed a home warrenty claim for a leaking water heater.My home warrenty sent a Mr. [redacted],he came to my home on April 11,2014 and installed a water heater. On April 12,2014 I woke up around 8:30 am to take a shower only to find I still had no hot water. I contacted Mr [redacted] to see if he could help He stated to me there was nothing he could do , he then procced to tell me probally had a faulty water heater and that a new one was gong to have to be ordered. Due to the safty issues dealing with a gas water heater I then contacted my home warrenty again and explained my safty concerns. My home warrenty then sent a urgent request out to Bells plumbing and they immediately came to my home. After spending a few hours at my home bells plumbing found the problem to be that the venting system was installed wrong reported this to my home warrenty and my self. I then contacted the home warrenty for them to tell me that the venting system was not covered and that in ordere to have the repairs the original vender had to come back and make the repaires. At this time I contacted Mr [redacted] again he came to my home to veiw the problem, he came on May 1,2014 I called Mr [redacted] to see what the resolution would be and he stated that because the second plumber came to my home he was no longer responsiable for the damaged vent although no repairs were made by the second plumber they only found the initial problem which was no oxygen was getting to the pilot light for it to stay lit therefor I still had no hot water.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that wooleys plumbing pay for the cost of the venting system to be replaced. I do not feel comfortable nor safe doing busines with this man as he no concerns for secondary dammage or the safty of my family. On several occasions I spoke to Mr wooley about my safty concers in which he had no regards stating that I was talking to a rock and that he just didnt care.

Wooley Plumbing is sub-contracted as a vendor for Ms.Young's home warranty. There are certain parameters and limitations set in place for the vendors of this home warranty within which Wooley Plumbing, as a vendor, must operate and with which must comply. Wooley Plumbing was authorized by the home warranty to replace the water heater. The home warranty specifically did not authorize Wooley Plumbing to repair or replace the ventilation system. These are issues that must be addressed with the home warranty.

Response:

The dispatch from the home warranty to [redacted] Plumbing was issued on 3/14/2014 for a leaking water heater. We scheduled an appointment for that same afternoon. Upon investigation, it was determined that the water heater had to be replaced. This particular unit is not one "on the shelf" and had to be special-ordered by the customer's home warranty. It took some time for the correct unit to arrive.
