Company installed GE water heater. Heater is leaking from bottom. Company refuses to replace product that GE says was broken during installation [redacted] hybrid water heater Model #[redacted] was installed by [redacted] & [redacted] (no complaint with electrical work)on 8/31/12. Technician was [redacted]. Invoice #[redacted], Amt. $2065.41. Truck #[redacted]. Invoice states 1 year warranty. [redacted] provides 1 year labor and 10 years parts warranty. During the winter I noticed evidence of a small puddle of rusty water draining from the bottom of the heater, which then dried up. When this problem increased, I asked [redacted] on April 13 to come and look at it. He came and said it should be replaced and I should contact [redacted], where the unit was purchased. [redacted] referred me to [redacted] Customer Service. I explained the problem to [redacted] and they suggested [redacted] should call them to troubleshoot the problem. I relayed that to Dave, who said he would call them. Later that afternoon I called [redacted] again and they had me go down to the water heater and describe what was happening. This is when we realized that the pump that should be removing condensation from the unit has never worked because no water has been draining through the plumber-installed drain in the side of the unit. Thus all condensation has been accumulating inside the water heater, and now has begun leaking out the bottom. Dave did not call [redacted]I called [redacted] again on April 20 and they said they would send a plumber out to determine if the condensation collection pan had been cracked during installation, which is what [redacted] determined. No one came. I sent a written complaint to [redacted] detailing my dissatisfaction. At that point the office manager did contact me, and did send another plumber out to look at the water heater. He left saying that they would contact GE and try to work out a solution. I heard nothing, and they stopped replying to email. I called the office on Saturday, May 25 and was told they would get back to me by the end of the day. (Didn't) I followed up in writing on May 27 suggesting a compromise, but still have not heard anything. Desired SettlementThe compromise that I suggested to [redacted] is that they remove the broken water heater and replace it with an energy-efficient unit that will not require my furnace or oil to heat the water. The replacement does not have to be the same $1,000 hybrid water heater that they initially installed since that was a special offer. Consumer's Final Response Hello,Just updating again. On 6/25, I received a call from [redacted] at [redacted]. He left a message asking me to call their main office #. I called there the next afternoon and the office manager said I should call his cell phone. I called his cell phone - he did not pick up. I left a message asking him to let me know if he had decided whether or not to agree to my proposed replacement of the water heater. I have not heard anything back. [redacted]

In 2011 Mr. Rooter provide us with a new Boiler that it was donated by Fuel assistant department. On March 2013 the boiler broke, we called Mr. Rooter to come and check because the boiler has a warranty. they came and checked, and said what was wrong with the boiler. The service professional was [redacted]. so he charged use $189 for his service. then he told me that the company would contact me to let me know what was the deal. I been calling them since that day every week and they been telling me that they are waiting on the manufacture piece. When I called on July 15, 2013, I spoke with [redacted] in Springfield, MA. He told me that the Location in Worcester was closed down, and he provided me the information of [redacted] that he was at the time the manager of the location in Worcester. When I called it was Mr. [redacted] mailbox and I left a message, Telling him to call me in the next 24 hours because I want to find out what is going to happen with the boiler. The next day I called the came Cellphone number and it was disconnected. We don't know what to do until a friend told us about the [redacted] that they have to do with Mr.Rooter. ON August 28, 2013 we called them and they send a service technician for our surprised it was [redacted], the same guy that came on March, 2013. Since that day we still waiting to see what they are going to do with the boiler and when I called I spoke with [redacted] and he was telling me that they are waiting to find out about t he manufacture piece. on September 4, 2013 I spoke again with [redacted] and he came with the same story. The last time I spoke with him was on September 9, 2013 and he told me that [redacted] will come by the house not later that September 13, 2013. That never happened, they never called me or showed up. So I decided to make a complaint because I think they don't want to fixed it, and because I'm Hispanic with my broken English I do not deserve have heat for this winter. Winter is around the corner and I have 3 under age kid living in my house.Product_Or_Service: Slant FinDesired SettlementFor they To fixed or replace the Boiler.
