Review: We purchased an airway clearance device from an warren word. Warren bros listed on dotmed. This is a medical device used for chest theapy on my son with cystic fibrosis. The listing stated that the unit was a hospital demo used for 1 hour. We paid 1600.00 for the unit. 10 months later the unit was malfunctioning and we contacted the makers, electromed, for service in the product. The told us that by tracking the serial number on the unit the were aware that the unit was purchased in 2010 and was actually 2.5 years old. The unit was donated and somehow was resold. We contacted the seller by phone and email and contacted dotmed and no one wants to repair or replace the unit. If repairs can be done we are looking ad 300 to 400 plus shipping to repair the unit. Warren has more listing for these units and continues to list them as hospital demos with 1 hour of use. I would like either a new unit or someone to pay for the repairs.

My son needs this unit as soon as possible. Warren has other units of the same model and I would like a working unit. If he pays he can gladely have bthe malfunctioning unit back. This is not a toy but a piece of medical equipment that we purchased on our own because we have no medical insurane.

The Unit they purchased was not advertised as a demo unit with 1 hour of use. the unit they are refering to is our current listing. I have emailed them explaning this fact with proof. We are sorry but we cannot warranty our products forever. Our warranty is 90 days.
