Customer Service has been working with this customer and a *** trace was initiated by our customer service representative regarding the delivery of these items. It takes at least days for *** to respond to the results of the trace. In the meantime, this customer decided that she
wanted a refund for the merchandise and a check in the disputed amount was mailed to her on Friday, August 25, 2017. It is our understanding that this complaint has been resolved

Due to the fact that this customer's credit card information could not be verified, the order was placed on fraud hold.  Work'N Gear then reached out to the customer regarding credit card information and substantial time elapsed before the customer got back in touch with Work'N Gear.  A...

special order was then placed for this customer, customer has received the items, and there has been no charge to the customer.  Consequently, since there was no charge to the customer for these items, no refund is due.

Bought a few items online with 2-day shipping and one of the items arrived a day late. Contacted them and was promptly issued a refund for the shipping cost. Excellent customer service.

I am writing to make you aware of my experience when I called the [redacted] Work N Gear store on Ford Road. I called the store on Tuesday night to inquire about ordering a pair of boots online that I needed by Sunday of next week. I told the person I spoke with that I lived in an apartment and was concerned that the office would close for the weekend before I could make it to pick up my package. The employee was polite and friendly and said that I could ship them to the store. I placed my order and paid for the 2-day expedited shipping. I called the same store on Friday at 1:50p when a person named [redacted] answered the phone. I told her my name and that I was calling to see if my boots had arrived. Before I could explain any further she sarcastically interrupted me saying, "Well how would I know if [redacted] boots have arrived if nobody has told me that [redacted] boots have arrived?" I tried to explain to her that I had had a pair of boots shipped to the store. She was rude and sarcastic the entire time. When I finally got out that I had spoken to an employee on Tuesday who had told me that it was okay to ship them there, she was still sarcastic and mentioned that the employee shouldn't have done that. She continued on her sarcastic rant until I finally cut her off saying, "Look, are the boots there or not?" Finally she acted like the adult that I assume she is and told me they should be there before 5pm. I hung up after that. I was stunned at how she spoke to me. I've had quite a bit of customer service experience and would never treat a consumer that way. I googled to find out who the store manager was so I could tell her about my negative experience and found that it was [redacted]. My thoughts on that are if a manager speaks to a paying customer just calling to ask a simple question with such rudeness and disrespect why should I continue to shop there? I like that Work N Gear sells [redacted] Boots and is close by,but at the end of the day I can order directly from [redacted] and and have much better customer service experience.

Review: I had place a phone order from the coporate office with [redacted] on March 28, 2013, with the promise the order will be process immediately and sent to the River Oaks store in Calumet City, Illinois. I was expecitng the order before Friday April 5th, when I called the store for my order I received no answer forcing me to call coporate again. I was told the order was at the and [redacted] place a call to the store herself only to tell me the store had close for two days now. I would think being a corporate office they would know this. My order was sent to Burbank and accepted by the store manager there sho told [redacted] he was sending a rush delivery to my resident. Well, I never receive the order never notified, or anything. I called and cancelled wanting a refund. I talked and or called [redacted] since with no return call and alot of apologies but no refund of my due monies. This is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS and I dont want an apology I think I deserve retrobution for my time, fustration, lost of money and product.Desired Settlement: A refund along with the product requested

Review: I have been trying to reach this company for over a week. I have left voicemails on both their corporate phone as well as the customer service phone. No one ever answers the phone at this company - it only goes to voicemail. There is no que for waiting calls for the next representative. I have itmes that I need to return for exchange - I now want my money back. I would not give them a nickel more of my money.I am contacting my credit card company to file a claim to not pay them until they contact me. I want to send this merchandise back and get my money back.Thank you.Desired Settlement: I want a refund and they can have their merchandise back.
