Tournament director not doing his job which didn't allow me to play in championship.This is a Tavern Poker league which makes money of the tavern paying to hold tournaments. The players receive points for tournaments played to win seats in to the championships and in to the national championship. Which you can at that tournament win money or seat in to the World series of poker. The Tournament director where I play at does and did not update scores in time for me to play in the tavern championship which if won gives you a seat right in to the finals at the nation level. I contacted the national office about the problem and they have done nothing about it. They advertise Over $100,000 A Year In Cash & Prizes! Each year, World Tavern Poker awards huge prizes in cash and WSOP seats. But do to their Tournament Director not doing his job my points were not updated which made me not eligible to play in the Tavern championship. I e-mailed the office at [redacted] several times. On my last E-mail I said that I may have to contact a lawer to get this straighten out. I was E-mailed back by [redacted] and told "Hi [redacted]Please do not contact us anymore and allow the attorneys to handle it at this point. Your attorney can send us any info at [redacted]" This has caused me not be be eligible for the Finals in nations but causing me to play in to extra rounds in nationals just to try and get to the finals. This will cost me extra money for nights and food in a hotel while playing the extra rounds. Desired Settlement This will cost me extra money for nights and food in a hotel while playing the extra rounds. They should either 1)give me a seat right in to the finals,2) replay the Tavern Championship semi finals and finals) or 3) give me a cash reimbursement for my time I did spend winning points to play in these tournaments. I played 17 tournament this seasons at a average of 2 1/2 hours per tournament. The job I was working payed me $21.75 per hour so I believe that is what my time should be worth. That comes to $369.75 for my time if they do not wish to go with the first to options listed above.
