Review: This company was called by our renters because they had no water flowing from the spigots. This comapny said they would check things out and let us know what needed to be done. They told us the pump was broken and needed to be replaced. This was told to us about 4:00 in the afternoon and that they were running out of day light and we needed to decide how we were going to pay for a $6100.00 bill so they could do the work. We signed no agreement and I could only put $3,000.00 on a credit card at that time. I asked them if they had done any work on the pumps in our development and [redacted] told us yes, they had done some of the original work. I also asked if there were any other pumps in our neighborhood that had been replaced and she said none so far. They couldn't tell us what happened to the 7 yr old pump or what caused the damage. They said the pump need to be replaced along with piping, that is not recommended for this depth, and the electrical wire. They left the pump so our insurance company could take a look at it in case a surge caused some of the damage and so we had another well/pump company (we found the company who did the original work)check the pump that [redacted] removed from our well and the 2nd company told us there was no damage and he would put it in his well. The 2nd company (company who originally installed the well, and pump work said this pump should last for about 12-15 years. They also said we were over charged. The County agent also told us we paid at least double for what it should have cost. The 2nd company said the pipe that was originally in the well was ridged piping and that the replaced pipe was poly pipe that will cause us trouble because it can't take the pressure of the water at that depth as so stated by the manufacturer. [redacted] when I complained about the cost and questioned why it was so expensive, she said the pump was very expensive and they replaced what had been taken out. They did lower the fee $500.00. They did the work on Thurs 4/11 No invoiceDesired Settlement: We feel that they didn't fix the problem. They replaced a perfectly good pump and they replaced superior pipe work with substandard piping and we still don't know what caused the original problem. The other company said the wiring at the house and down the well should have been checked first. I never knew what had been done until the invoice was emailed to me Monday 4/15. I asked Thursday, Friday and Monday had to call for the receipt.
