Wright Appliance Repair Reviews (2)

I obtained services from Wright appliance for the repair of my oven. I contacted Wright Appliance in January 2015. I spoke with the owner, [redacted], who agreed to come to my home to look at the issue with my oven shutting off while cooking. [redacted] came to my home on 01-29-15 and charged me $80 just for coming out. [redacted] diagnosed the problem as a gas supply issue. I called my gas company and they made a visit to my house and assured me that I did not have any gas issues and referred me back to Wright Appliance. I shared the results with [redacted] who told me that he spoke with other technicians who specialize in repairing [redacted] ovens and said that my control board needed to be replaced. [redacted] came out on 02-10-15 to repair the stove and said the total cost of repair would be $301.89. Two weeks later I contacted [redacted] and told him that I was experiencing the same issue and that my oven still continued to cut off. [redacted] told me he would have to see if he could take the part back that he installed in my oven and refund me my money because he said it may be that the valve needed to be replaced and that would cost the same amount of a new range oven. [redacted] told me to give him three weeks to find an alternative. I have been calling almost every week and spoke with a woman who said she would relay my message to [redacted] however, still no response. Desired SettlementI would like a refund or the stove repaired as agreed.

Mr. [redacted] made an expensive repair to my refrigerator, promising it would fix the problem. The problem remains, and they have ignored my 3 phonecallsThe temperature in my refrigerator was swinging dramatically (ranging from 30 to 42 degrees), and I asked Mr. [redacted] about fixing it. On Nov. 19, Mr. [redacted] performed a repair on the refrigerator that cost $484.58. I was willing to pay this high price because he said he was sure that it would fix the problem. The problem did not go away. Indeed, the exact same temperature swings remain. I waited a few days to see if things would be better, but after 10 days I realized the problem hadn't improved at all as a result of the repair. I called [redacted] Appliances on Nov. 30 to tell them that the problem remained and asked them to call me. They did not respond in any way. I called again on December 14, again requesting a response. Again, I received no response. I decided to give them one more chance, in case they were busy for the holidays, so I called on the morning of January 5, asking them to respond as soon as possible. They still haven't responded in any way, shape or form. I am frustrated, to put it mildly.Desired SettlementI just want my refrigerator to work. So I want them to do the repair correctly. I don't understand why the repair didn't work, given Mr. [redacted]'s confidence that it would.
