I first had my braces put on when I was in a two income household and I was half way through paying them off when I left my husband of six years due to abuse.I had to move back in with my parents and I was left with many debts so I had to stop treatment with Wright, because they wouldn't work with me. When my finances were decent enough to attempt to start paying them again they wanted to tack on another $1,000 claiming I caused them extra work. And then to even have a tightening done they wanted a down payment of $500 to start treatment again. I showed them my cheeks which were all chewed up like ground beef from not having the proper maintainance and the huge sore I had in my mouth that got an infection from wires consistently rubbing. They didn't care that my gums were beginning to grow up over my brackets. Also when I first got my braces on they didn't tell me I had a tooth rotting from the inside out so I didn't feel pain but the braces broke that tooth and I had to have surgery and I still need an expensive implant that I can't afford. They wanted a grand up front to remove the braces and I couldn't take it anymore so I removed them myself. This place treated me like just a dollar sign. I have pictures of my infection and I kept the bills from the surgery and I have the braces that I took off myself.
