Review: I was told last year that I owed TYP Media $329.00 for one years service. I never authorized any such service. I was basically forced to pay the $329.00 bill in order to stop such service. The service was not terminated and I am now being told I owe another $329.00 for another years service. [redacted], whom I spoke to today, would not terminate the service. I was told by [redacted] that I would have to pay the $329.00 and an additional $150.00 to stop the service I never authorized to begin with. Once I realized nothing was going to be resolved I asked [redacted] to speak to someone "above" her. [redacted] said she was the boss, no one had authority over her that I could speak to. [redacted] refused to give me any phone number or contact information to anyone else.Desired Settlement: End this so called service with TYP media (which I never started), stop the frustrating phone calls, and disregard the amount owed for a service that was initiated by this company without authorization.

Review: Business called and failed to distinguish themselves from the Yellow Pages, sent bill with identical logo to Yellow Pages, total bill over $500, refused to cancel "listing." I offered to pay for a single month- since they claimed that I had been listed for a month. but the lowest they would offer was a 3 month listing at $200. I declined to pay that amount and told them I would be filing a complaint with Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount owed to be $0, and any listing posted to be removed.

I'd also like them to stop their business practices which cannot be interpreted as anything but intentionally misleading and predatory.

Review: We are receiving a bill in the amount of $549.00 from this business however we have not conducted business with them nor do we wish too. This is the second issue we have had with this company over the same issue.Desired Settlement: We do not wish to pay the bill for the services that we never wanted or asked for.

Review: [redacted]'s paid The Yellow Pages USA for services that proved to be completely unsatisfactory. No contract or information stating how to use their service was ever given. No statement regarding a cancellation fee should our relationship need to be dissolved. Cancellation fees/terms were not listed on invoices. I will not pay to no longer receive service that was unsatisfactory to begin with. They cannot provide me with any further information regarding their terms in written agreements or transcripts.Desired Settlement: Billing adjustment to remove "cancellation fee" $199.00 and no further contact.

Review: The company has decided to bill us for services that were never requested. This bill is coming after the last time they decided to do the same thing and that we had to fight to get them to NOT list us. While we had used this service years ago, we canceled it. Back then, they continued to bill even though we didn't renew and even though we requested it canceled. It took a year before they complied. Now years later, they are all of a sudden sending us bills when we never asked or wanted their service.Desired Settlement: To issue a statement saying that we do not owe them anything and to cease randomly billing us for services not requested nor provided.

Review: On July *, 2013 an advertising company by the name of [redacted] sent us invoice number [redacted] in the amount of $599.00 for an on-line directory listing that was never approved by our controller, CEO or management team. We called the advertising company to dispute the invoice and spoke to [redacted] who confirmed that he had spoken to our sales clerk at our store front business by the name of [redacted] who approved these charges. We explained to [redacted] at [redacted] that [redacted] is our store front clerk and does not have the authority to approve these type of billing inquiries and that all contracts and invoices are only and ever approved through our corporate offices. [redacted] at [redacted] threatened to send our company to a collection agency.

Since this incident, we have received two statements from [redacted], one on 08/**/2013 and a second one on 09/**/2013 with a balance due of $599.00. We have not paid this outstanding invoice to date and would not have approved this online directory service if it had been sent to our corporate office to begin with. We believe that when [redacted] contacted our sales clerk by phone that this company is involved in unethical collection practices and that [redacted] may be a scam.

[redacted] from [redacted] called our office today (December **, 2013) and threatened to send us to a collection agency for the second time. During this same phone call with our bookkeeper, [redacted] from [redacted] said that they had changed the collection amount to $130.00 to help pay for the [redacted] fees that they have supposedly incurred. Our bookkeeper confirmed that we would not be paying [redacted] for this invoice or any future invoices or statements because they were never approved by our corporate office.Desired Settlement: Our desired outcome with this issue is that [redacted] close out this invoice to a zero balance and never contact our business again. This is a SCAM!

Review: I was contacted about one month ago regarding a listing on Yellow Page Directory Online. The representative stated that we were in the second half of a two year agreement and she needed to verify that our information was still correct. Once contact information was established to be correct, she then stated that we were in a two year agreement and that the first year was taken care of but the second year billing was due. Since I had taken over the billing of the hospital in February 2014, I was led to believe that the previous person had authorized and paid the first half and that this was the second billing. I then received a statement stating that our bill was overdue and that payment needed sent ASAP to keep from being sent to collection. When I contacted the person who sent the statement informing her that we received this letter, she stated that the first year was a complimentary service and was authorized by someone else in the hospital in April of 2013. When she informed me of this information, I knew this to be incorrect. The person's name she used is not involved in authorizing this listing and I was in charge of billing then and did not authorize it either. She refused to help other than telling me the bill was due and when I asked to speak to someone regarding cancelling the listing and the billing, she refused and stated it could not be cancelled. She only wanted to play me the recording of me reviewing the information. I told her I knew what I had said in the recording and that I would like to know why no one told me the information regarding the first year being complimentary and that this other person authorized it in April 2013 because that would have sent up red flags to me immediately. She refused to help any further other than offering to send me to collection after numerous attempts to have her transfer me to someone who could help. Just another scam where information is withheld to keep you in the dark.Desired Settlement: I would like the listing to be removed and the bill we were sent for $479.95 to be voided.
