Review: I have yet to receive my license plates for the vehicle I purchased which were included in the sale and have not received the 300$ for the first months payment which was promised since I did not get my vehicle til a month after purchasing it. I also do not have my registration for the vehicle and no actual paperwork in hand besides the loan paperwork to show it is mine. They have had to re issue me a temporary license plate due to the first one expiring. I've stopped in the business several times about this each time I have witnessed several other individuals in there with the same problems. I'm told the owner when I purchased the vehicle lost his business and it is under new ownership and they blame him for screwing things up and promise to fix things but have done nothing yet to do so. I have had this vehicle for over 4 months now and still have nothing.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the license plates I paid for and the registration for the vehicle. Also I would like to receive the 300$ promised to me for the first months payment. And would like to see nobody else going through these same problems like I have seen on each visit to the dealership.

Review: Purchased 2003 Buick Park Ave on June 30, 2015. Sent for repairs before taking to AZ to leave at my AZ address all year. Mechanic found many major problems with the vehicle. He started to work on the vehicle but decided to inform me of all the major problems that needed to be done. I was given a "Wisconsin Buyers Guide" when purchased the vehicle where the Cooling System, Drive Train, Engine, Fluids, Gauges, brake system, windshields. etc/ all will marked with a "check" that they were all in working order. I have a lemon. I paid $3300.00 and expected to have to put some money into the vehicle, i.e. tires, automatic window, shocks, but did not expect all these repairs.Desired Settlement: The best solution to this lemon would be go get my money back. $3380.00. The next best solution would be for this shady dealer to pay the $2000 my mechanic feels it will take to get the car in good working order. I did and paid for complete Auto Check before I purchased the vehicle and it had a "clean" accident and repair record.

Revdex.com Complaint ID: [redacted] Purchased car 6/30/2015 In customer’s statement she states she “purchased 2003 Buick Park Ave on June 30, 2015. Sent for repair before taking to AZ to leave at my AZ address all year.” She neglects to mention that she “sent it for repairs” more than three months after she bought the car. When she called us and talked to me approximately three months after the sale, I asked her why she waited three months to call us, she said she didn’t drive the car for three months after she drove it home (according to mapquest is 111 miles). On her first visit to Wyss, Inc. Ms. [redacted] test drove three vehicles and put a deposit on a Mercury Grand Marquis. Several days later, on her second visit she test drove 2 cars, and was strongly considering switching to purchasing the 2003 Buick Park Ave. On her request, we put the Buick up on a rack so she could look it over underneath. She told me her mechanic friend told her what to look for, and as she looked it over we answered her questions. Ultimately she purchased the 2003 Buick Park Ave. Approximately 3 months later, Ms. [redacted] called Wyss, Inc. and talked with me. I’m the Sales Manager of Wyss, Inc. On two occasions during our phone conversation, I asked her what her mechanic said the car needed. Both times she simply stated that it had “major problems that will cost $2,000.00.” I strongly suggested she take it to another garage and get a second opinion, explaining that some garages mislead the customer by saying it needs repairs that are not necessary to inflate their bill and I again urged her to get a second opinion. I added that our inspection of the vehicle showed that it was in need of no repairs once we put it on our lot. Lastly, I told Ms. [redacted] that we would be happy to look at the car and quote her a low price to make any needed repairs to the car. William Wyss (Owner) and [redacted] (Sales Manager)

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[redacted] never told me to bring the vehicle back and they would make the repairs at a low cost. Yes he told me to take it to another mechanic to get an estimate, assuring me that [redacted], from Hanlin Auto was probably spiking the cost of repairs. [redacted] is a "friend" of mine and has does business in Byron, IL for many years. Talk to anyone in Byron, IL and they will tell you he is the best mechanic and treats his customers fair. [redacted] initial mechanical analysis, which he looked at the car the day after I brought it Byron as a favor to me, was to replace shocks, front brakes, rear brakes, driver door window did't open, windshield wipers needed a new motor. I had none of this work done then as I didn't need the car until late October. I canceled car insurance to "storage" insurance and parked the vehicle 3 miles from Byron. The car sat there until October 5th, when we took it back up to the mechanic to begin making the repairs. After further inspection he found rotors needed replaced and some other things I cannot remember the name of but repairs would be close to $2000.00. We then had to decide whether to continue the repairs or to try to get rid of the vehicle all together. Golden Auto Used Cars in Byron, IL told my son he would only give us $1200 for the vehicle. I paid $3,300.00 (I believe)

Review: I purchased a car from them and later that day the car had warning lights and a chime go off before locking up and running into a pole sending me to the . I went to the dealer the next day explaining the issue and at first it seemed they wanted to help, but when they seen the damage they changed their mind.so to go back they called general motors to see if they would fix it because of a recall not knowing what happened only to find out one of the recalls was supposedly fixed, and the other recall they wasnt sure on but was willing to look at it. Now when they seen the car they went back on their promise of fixing it and said I should go half on fixing the car. I told them they were responsible and I want another car or my money back. A guy said he don't do refunds and hasnt done one in 35 years, so I said I would sue and he said good luck with that.I then called back and said can they trade for another vehicle and they said I can come in and choose form what they had and when I got there I was basically limited to what I can get. so after looking and choosing a car again it once again was defected.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund, for them to pay off the car loan, or buy me a car of my choice.

Review: Sales rep contacted me to come and look at vehicle gave him down payment of $500 sales rep said I could come get the vehicle the next day. The next day no vehicle I was told to come look at another one that I could bring home that day as well. I go in again and no vehicle I was told I could get the vehicle the next day around 1:00. I called at 1 and he tells me to call back in 10 min when I call no answer. I was told office closed at 6 and he promised I would get my vehicle by the end of the day. I go out there around 4:52 and there closed. I call sales guy on his cell phone and he says he cannot get me the vehicle for another 2 day's. I call the owner only to find out that the vehicle was already promised to someone.Desired Settlement: I want them to be upfront with there customers
